Hello, people! It's been such a long time since I last updated my profile that I feel silly for all the things I've written here. Meh. Anyway, one of the most amazing things that's totally not gonna blow your mind like it did mine: I discovered the words pen name. No, really. Two years ago, when I rewrote my profile, I decided to quite obviously point out my name and the many nicknames applied to it as a way of making my readers comfortable with me.
Aaaand it's not my real name. Mind-blown.
Cheers to all foreigners, I guess.
Name: Bruna. This time for real.
Pen name: Amaryllis
Nicknames: Amy, Ally, Lis.
(I love my 'real-real' nickname, Bru or Bruh, it's up to you how to write it, but it sounds uncomfortably like a drunken version of bro in English. ~)
Height: 156 cm or approximately 5'2".
Age: Eh. Young enough to be shocking if I got married, I guess. Old enough to be in university/college/it's-the-same-freaking-thing-in-Brazil.
Hair: Dark brown. I'm dying to dye it and become a fake redhead. Tips, guys?
Eyes: DARK FREAKING BROWN. It's normal, I'm not a special snowflake, boo-hoo. I did manage to acquire three different colored contact lenses, though. I'm lazy and wear glasses most of the time, but it's comforting to know that I can have blue or green eyes anytime I want to do so. Weird, maybe.
Birthday: March 19th. It's kinda nice, kinda not to have my birthday in March. Don't know about your countries, but in Brazil it's as if nobody was born in March (except for half of my freaking family). I always high-five another March-born baby. But sometimes people just gloss over it, 'cause it's the beginning of a new school year and not everybody remembers to get into gear by the time my birthday comes around.
(Not that I'm party-crazy. Everyone who matters remembers, so that's it, I guess.)
Country: Brazil. We speak Brazilian Portuguese. I hate football/soccer (Americans, I'm looking at you). I think I can dance samba or fake it well enough if a foreigner asks me to demonstrate. And, seriously, we don't all classify in this Latino people stereotype. Most of us have natural white skin and are just really tanned. Lastly, Brazil is such gigantic country, we can't even fall into one category between ourselves, why would you dump South America into the same bowl?
(Props to those who are open-minded to new cultures and don't think that every South American is the same thing. Or every Asian is Chinese or Indian. Or that Africa is a huge-ass continent with absolutely the same culture everywhere. Still too afraid to go to Australia, though, sorry. It must be goddamn beautiful- when you get past the two-meters tall spiders. Kidding, kidding.)
Dream: I decided to try and be a diplomat. Still have to get over a bunch of ridiculous-sounding problems, such as being a picky-eater and being afraid of sleeping alone in a house/apartment. It just creep me out to be alone and have someone break into my house. Who am I gonna use as bait while I escape? Just kidding.
Hogwarts House: Slytherin all the way. And everyone who knows me would say the same. Some more emphatically than others. I love reading, so maybe Ravenclaw next? Certainly not Hufflepuff or Gryffindor. I'm not nice enough to be a Puff, that's for sure.

"Death seems less terrible when you're tired". - Simone de Beauvoir
"I am terrified by this dark things that sleeps in me." - Sylvia Plath
And, in tiny letters, it was written in his epitaph: “Tried to be, but couldn’t do it; tried to have it, but couldn’t acquire it; tried to keep on going, but couldn’t proceed; and in this life of frustrated expectations tried to even love… Very well, he didn’t manage it, and here he is.” - Dom Casmurro

"There is no word harsh enough to describe him. None. Maybe something in German, because in that language, saying 'I love you' sounds like 'I will now molest you mercilessly, pitiful virgin." - I Fell in Love with a Boy, by OO83
Some may found themselves annoyed with me, since I post a bunch of stories and update them sporadically. Well, I have a serious problem, and it's called "too much imagination, too little time". I love to write with all my heart and spend most of my time in school day-dreaming about anything really. I have lots of stories in mind going at the same time and, sometimes, I just have to write them down.
If there is a story that you like, just be patience: I'm gonna update it.
Don't lose your time saying "Update quickly". First because that's not a real review (really, it doesn't tell me anything meaningful), second because I'll update when I fell like updating. This may sound uncool, but it's just the way things are. Also, I usually update the stories with more reviews, since I understand what the readers are feeling about my plot.
It might be surprising, but I have a life outside this site. Incredible.
(Don't take this too personally. It's just me irritated with annoying readers that think I live to write for them).
That's it for awhile. Who knows when I will get off my lazy ass and update this thing again.
