Author has written 4 stories for Star Wars.
Well, I suppose I may as well say a little something about myself. A blank description is rather depressing, though I find myself at somewhat of a loss as to what I should say. I'm much more a reader than a writer, and originally created this account to leave reviews to stories I've read and follow them for updates. Now I find myself, somewhat surprisingly, an author myself. If anyone is interested, my forte is more in the realm of music videos. I have a YouTube account under this same username and probably hold the record for 'Most Palpatine Tributes' on YouTube. Anyone want to challenge me for the title? Didn't think so:
I've loved to read for years now, though I was not that big a fan when I was very young. The first two books that really interested me in reading were actually both Star Wars books, fitting seeing as I've read more books in that 'Universe' than anything else. They were Star Wars: Tales of the Bounty Hunters, edited by Kevin J. Anderson, and Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire, written by Steve Perry. While they're not actually my favorite books in the series, they'll always have a special place in my heart for sparking me to start reading. Since then, I've read a lot more Star Wars books (a couple hundred in all, and more coming out every year), Sherlock Holmes, Lord of the Rings, Artemis Fowl, Deltora Quest, Keys to the Kingdom, and numerous stand-alone novels. If any of you recognize the titles, you've probably realized I'm mainly into Science Fiction and Fantasy, with a little Mystery on the side. Only recently, relatively speaking, have I gotten into FanFiction. I never really considered it before, but now I've found that I enjoy them as much as 'official' books. They offer so many alternatives to the canon story, and I've found myself rather drawn to the romance ones. I've never really sought them out previously, but now I find myself collecting quite the library of them.
If anyone is interested in the covers I've made for stories here, as well other artwork, I do have a DeviantArt account:
Wow, for someone who initially said he didn't know what to say, I've filled up quite a lot. I guess in closing, I might talk a little about how I actually read the stories I review. I don't actually read them online. I really only started reading FanFiction after I got my eReader (Nook if anyone is that curious) and I do pretty much all my reading there or on my computer. I found this gem of a site early on, and it's worth its weight in gold:
You can download stories off of here and a number of other sites and save them in the most popular formats on your computer. So if I find a story I want to read, I download it and read it that way (and keep it to reread later if I especially like it). Because of that, I never really review individual chapters because I'm not in a position to actually type anything out. I just read all there is and then review from that.
