 Author has written 195 stories for MI-5/Spooks. I am a fan of good-quality British TV - from The Lakes' in the 1990's to Spooks' in the 2000's. (To be honest, my obsession with British TV goes back to 1968 and a comedy program called "At Last The 1948 Show", the tapes from which were unfortunately taped over, so there is only minimal footage left.) I write fanfics for "Spooks", specifically Harry & Ruth stories. I cannot get enough of these two. They are the perfect couple - flawed, awkward, always forgiving the other, and with a love and respect for each other which endures almost everything which is thrown at it. I am especially fond of Harry Pearce. To me he is the perfect modern hero ... bold to the point of foolishness, always prepared to make a romantic gesture, fiercely protective, loyal, courageous; while at the same time as he is hesitant, and never loses sight of his own and others' humanity. |
