![]() Just a young, aspiring writer trying to entertain herself on the odd, off day. I've been on this site for probably like... 9-10 years now... I don't know. I've had multiple accounts that I've trashed and started over from scratch, which means a bunch of stories lost that I honestly wish I'd saved. I get fascinated with things quickly, but bored with them almost as fast. My constantly changing favorites list probably is an outcome of that. There's quite a few permanent stories in there, but if a story is there than gone a few days later its because I realized it wasn't something I could reread multiple times with the same reaction like I can with some of the constants. My writing usually ranges from sickeningly sweet, annoying fluff to sad, angsty stuff. So if you like either of those, or anything between, just look through my stories I guess. So here's a list of stories I've read over the years that I really got touched by. I've read them all multiple times, and they are always as good as they were the first time. These are stories I still catch myself thinking about years later: Stigmata by InferiorBeing. This is a Dark!Harry Harry Potter story. It's Harry/Draco, but nothing explicit about their relationship. This is most definitely in the horror genre. This is about how Harry's desire for Draco pulls him into the Dark and he becomes the new Dark Lord. Honestly, you find yourself rooting for the bad guy, Harry, to win, and it's just a crazy ride the whole way through. I've read this story so many times, and it's just scary to sit and think about, but amazing all the same. Honestly, the top story on this site, whatsoever. Malfoy Flavor by Vorabiza. This Harry Potter story is over on Hpfandom, but a quick search of 'Malfoy Flavor' and its the first link. This story with forever be nestled tightly in my heart, its amazing! Its Serveritus, Sev is Harry's father, and Harry hides in plain sight during the war as a new Slytherin at Hogwarts. Its Draco Malfoy/Harry Potter, with a mix of other slash/het pairings. The relationship between D/H is so amazing, they're perfect together. Its rated M, there's a bunch of exhibitionism/voyerism, and the two are underage, so you've been warned. Its very, very much worth the read, though. When Hippogriffs and Pygmy Puffs Collide by oldenuf2nb. Its a Harry Potter story over on live journal and all around lovely. Its Harry/Draco, rated M. Harry owns a bakery, Draco is a tattoo artist, they're both outrageously attractive, and I can't promise I didn't swoon a number of times. Its epilogue compliant, but so light hearted and wonderful. The kids are all grown up, the youngest being 16, and youll fall in love with them too. Its really a must read. Hearts Adore by YellowGlue. Talk about the most adorable romance ever. This Twilight, Bella/Edward story is truly beautiful. The way this is written is poetic and Edward is so clearly in love its breathtaking. This Edward is the sweetest, most loving Dirty Talking Stonerward you will ever read. His words literally hold Bella together and his patience with her is insane. And honestly, this was the best Bella I have ever read, no doubt about it. I was giddy the whole time reading this, and couldn't stop until I finished it. Read this. Read this, read this, read this! The Darklist by Cheryl Dyson. Or anything by Cheryl Dyson for that matter. She writes Harry Potter slash. Mostly Draco/Harry, like this is. In this one, Draco is a criminal and turns himself in to give information to the Ministry. (Have you heard of The Blacklist?) But he'll only share his inside info with Harry. He's extremely smart, and definitely a badass criminal. There's a CRAZY plot twist and perfect amounts of UST. Super attractive characters and an amazing story line. READ IT. Must Love Quidditch by dracosoftie. This is a Harry/Draco Harry Potter story. The meet online, don't know its each other, and fall for each other before they ever meet. This is wonderful, I have and will continue to read it over and over again. I love this because you can just admire both main characters. Instead of one lowering what their standards would usually be because of the high/low class culture difference, they're both equals. It really is just just lovely, fluffy, and so perfect. It is rated M, though. Tattoos Like Mile Markers by casket4mytears. This is a Twilight story that was elongated from a one shot. This is so raw and emotional and seriously just hit home with me. Edward and Bella are both suicidal and this is how they get through and live and force themselves to help their own selves so they can help each other. This story contributed so much music to my ipod's playlist its not even funny. I literally just sit and think about this sometimes, it really is so real and you can feel so much when you read it. I've never come across anything like it. Unhook the Stars by jad is a Harry Potter story over on livejournal. it's somewhat... filthy. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea, there's a lot of hardcore Ds Sex between Draco/Harry. What I liked most was the slow build of their relationship. Draco fights and fights against it, and has a lot of his own problems to deal with, but the ending is happy. Its just amazing to watch them ivercome so much with each other. Also features: Harry in a collar 24/7, an adorable Scorpius with an instant fondness for Harry, drug use, very many kinks which are in the story warnings, prostitution, a lovely Narcissa, and a lovely bestfriend Pansy. Hard M. be warned. Raspberry Jam by vvc. This is a Harry Potter story about Draco's transition and magical maturity. He doesn't want the transition to link him with just anybody, so he chooses Harry who he's been watching. This is really a great story about how the two fall into a sweet romance and the power and bond they share. Very interesting, and a very cunning, Slytherin Harry. The Blessing and The Curse by The Black Arrow. This story really captures the darker side to Twilight and Edward's personality. Edward can hear thoughts with touch, but this is all human. This is really emotional and powerful and Edward is this dark mysterious person that you aren't even sure you should classify as a human as you read this. It's so interesting and captivating, I really loved this. It's canon, by the way. The Secret's in the Telling by Sakuri. This is one of a kind, I've never seen anything similar. Its a Harry Potter Draco/Harry story, and Draco is a werewolf. He makes a sexy werewolf, too. This is a slow, slow progressing relationship, but its more than worth it. I couldn't get over how amazing and original it was. This is definitely a must read. Through and through. It also mentions past SBRL, where Sirius is Remus' mate, which I love, and current RLSS, but its preslash. This is written wonderfully. Being a Vella's Mate by Chereche. This is Harry Potter, and Draco's a Veela, Harry's his mate. They come together at a young age, and there bond is just amazing. They have to fight the war, obviously, and all kinds of problems pop up. It's really just adorable, and dominant Draco takes care of Harry in such a sweet way. READ IT! There's a loving Malfoy family, and then Uncle's Severus, Sirius and Remus! So perfect/ A World Without Sound by The Romanticidal Edwardian. A sweet, lovely Twilight story. In this, Edward is deaf and this is the story of how him and Bella get through everything in life. It's very inspiring, and shows a great deal of what love can do and overcome. I loved this story, and it has a lot of sweetness and fluff throughout it. A fun, inspiring read, honestly. Black Truth by InferiorBeing. This is also Harry Potter. The first creature fic I ever absolutely loved. It's still rare for me to even want to read them. Draco is a full blooded Veriae and his mate is Harry. They have to figure out how to deal with all of this and what it means for them. It feature's a loving, father figure Lucius, which is probably why it stuck with me so much. A very good read. Five Places Cinna Came From by aimmyarrowshigh. This is a Hunger Games fic, and 5 unrelated oneshots about Cinna. I read it so long ago, and still think about it all the time. These are all separate reasons why Cinna might possible have wanted to go against the Capital, its its breathtakingly beautiful. And DEFINITELY check out the rest of my favorites. There's some more amazing stuff in there, I promise. |
