Author has written 15 stories for Lord of the Rings, Big Time Rush, Dragon Age, Free! - Iwatobi Swim Club, Naruto, and Harry Potter. Hello, well this is just in case one of the readers from "Alina" and "Reasons why not to join the Fellowship" are wondering if I'm dead or kidnapped and being held captive in some remote place where there is no internet or computers, no, it's neither of those cases. Since it's summer I've gotten into writing two novels plus a thing which I am not sure if it should be called fanfiction or something else. The point is, I will be resuming "Alina" and "Reasons why..." in a month or so. I can't write "Reasons why..." without my partner and since we don't see each other during summer, it's hard to write it. Sorry for the long wait. You have stumbled upon the dark scrolls of my life. You have a choice to make, keep reading, or leave before it is too late... Nah, just kidding, although you may find somethings here to be quite odd, I don't think you'll get cursed by reading my profile. Hm, well, let's start by a few series and stuff I like. First of all, Lord of the Rings. That is my one deadly obsession. I love all of Tolkien's books, including the History of Middle earth, which I recommend you all Tolkien fans to read, or at least the Silmarillion. Another obsession of mine is Dragon Age Origins. Love the game! And Kingdom Hearts, I can't get enough of it!! So, now for the anime obsessions. Those are quite recent, not a year old even since I didn't use to watch anime until my friends from my dorm got me into it Probably their biggest mistake since I am a danger when I am obsessed with something. Some of these are Ouran High school Host Clud (my first anime), Hetalia (I have scary problems there which I will not utter here) Kuroshitsuji, Inu x boku, Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood (Lin is mine, all mine!!), Okami-san, Durarara!! (Izaya is mine!!!) Sword art online (you have to watch it! The first episode is 'meh' but the rest you will love) Well I honestly don't know what to say about myself. It's not like I live an awesome life worth people's time. I will just describe a little about myself. Real name: Maria (Not like you will know who I am just because you know my real name. There are about a billion girls with that name just here on the Island) Gender: if by my name you didn't get it then it is female. Age: *me* I'm sorry, what was the question? I'm not that old alright! *eyes twitch* I'm twenty one and I'm in a crisis! I hate that number two in front of my age digits! I don't know why but the fact that I wont be a teen anymore is a bit depressing since it feels like age is moving unto me too fast. Surely I am not alone here, right? *hopeful smile* Family: mom, dad and four younger sisters so it's a rollercoster every day with the typical sister fights and all. Not to mention that since I am the oldest everything they do falls upon me -_-. But I love them anyways. Hobbies: Reading and writing. I really love to do both things. My sisters tease me a lot since they say I waist my time doing that instead of listening to music or other teen stuff. Physical appearance: long, curly/wavy brown hair, brown eyes, Caribbean tanned skin. Duh, I'm Puerto Rican and I love my Island with a passion! Height: 5'3, just a little bit more and I reach 5'4 lol. But that is actually the normal height here. Around that height is the medium height. Most girls are from one to three or even four inches shorter than me. Common height here is 5'3-5'4, above that you are considered tall. Fav. color: Blue...and green, for...personal reasons. Maybe because it is in the name of a certain, blond, blue eyed elf :3 Writing: Okay so when I write I like to hear instrumental music from the list of authors you will find somewhere below. It inspires me a lot to hear music when I write. Also I get very inspired with ideas in the classroom. Yup, bad, very bad, but when the teacher is up there talking, all of a sudden a thousand ideas will come to my mind and I will be struggling between not forgetting them, developing them and paying attention to the teacher. Also, the bathroom is a good place to think, mainly when I'm in the shower. I don't want any eyebrows raised okay, I just get many ideas when I am bathing. Weird obsessions: Hahaha now we're talking! Well let's start by saying that I love leaves as in a "leaf". Yes 'tis true, I have an obsession with leaves. But my friends figured out why quickly since they know who my main obsession in life is...Legolas! Yes I'm 21 and am still obsessed with Legolas. Can you blame me? He was my first crush and will forever be so. So yeah, that's where the leaves come in. I have also been a nature freak since forever and I have always liked forests and nature walks so it's not so weird, right? Another of my obsessions apart from Legolas is the entire world of Middle earth. Everything and everyone is of fascination to me. The language, the people, the cultures, their history, everything that has to do with Tolkien's writings have an effect on me that make me look like a maniac in times of excitement. Of course my new obsession is Dragon Age: Origins. I have not, and will never, left my other obsessions, but this new one has me crazy. I am desperate for the game and I am saving money so that I may buy a PS3 plus the game for Christmas. I'm a college student so we'll see how that works out. I love Kingdom Hearts and I have been waiting for the third game to come out for several years now -_- I don't know if it will ever come, but I am desperately hoping for it. Not that I'll probably be able to play it seeing that College is a soul sucking void that drains every second of your life and every desire to live at all. Well it depends on you as well. If you are the type who can have a project done in a few hours and study quickly without getting distracted or falling in the habit of procrastinating (which is an art I have perfected, though I'm not proud of it) then college will only be a soul sucking void that drains every second of your life but you will at least have some desire to go on, maybe. Deepest dream- If we are talking crazy dreams then I would love to leave this world and be in another world where adventure, romance and magic will rule my life. Yeah...like that's ever going to happen. But if we are talking realistic dreams, then I wish to find true love and be sure that he is the one and never feel alone. Kind of cheese, but that's what you get for reading my profile. What were you thinking? *me*-lol Even if my main language is Spanish, since before I began school my dad taught me English and it always was my favorite subject in school. But I hope you guys don't think me less because of my origin. I think everyone should be very proud of their own native country. Just a few of my favorite books:
Scarlett Letter Breath, eyes, memory Beloved (No, it's not a romance story. But right now I can't remember the author!) Silmarillion Lord of the Rings The Hobbit Once upon a Marygold Unicors of Balinor Harry Potter One thousand and one nights I am starting to read The Silmarillion and I already ordered The Book of lost Tales part one and two. I also have the Atlas of Middle earth in pdf, if anyone wants copy PM me, the Unfinished Tales, Morgoth's Ring and I just bought a book about Tolkien's languages of Middle earth!!! And other books that are from my Spanish culture like: When I was a Puerto Rican (it is a book about a real girl who was born and lived in Puerto Rico for a few years then moved to the US. It is really good) Other books and novels I have read in Spanish. La Belleza Bruta After the Dark (which is, I think, a jappanese novel that my Spanish teacher had us read. It's not the best novel but it was a bit interesting. Maybe it's more than just a bit interesting but since my preference for reading materail is far from the subject of the book, I read it more out of duty than out of desire. Favorite music: Well here is where people look at me as if I were some sort of freak. The thing is I really love music from Enya, David Arkenstone, Inon Zur, a bit of John Dreamer, Two steps from hell, and anything that is instrumental and beautiful. It inspires me to write a whole lot. When I hear a song all sorts of ideas come into my mind and I can even get an entire story figured out just by listening to a song. About my personality. I used to always be the shy, silent, invisible, straight A nerd, goody two shoes girl. I loosen up by the end of high school but Alas! I was always considered the little freaking saint. Well now I am a bit more looes (by which I mean not so stiff necked) and people have begun to see that. Though I am still considered a goody two shoes. I love nature. I love to sit under a tree and read or just think. I love nature hikes, I love to go out at nights with my sisters to watch the stars while we talk. My parents, mainly my dad, are control freaks. I love them but the truth is the truth. I am not allowed to go out at all even with my friends. I will not say when I had my first boyfriend, and even that was a secret for my parents. This is a story about God that I honestly believe, though it did not happen to me. A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiances of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short-cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped around her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." If you believe in Jesus Christ, copy and paste this on your profile.
