It's been a while since I've updated this thing. Let's see.

Name (I go by): Susinko

Animes I like: Fullmetal Alchemist (both original and Brotherhood), Hetalia, Spice and Wolf, Utawarerumono, Inuyasha, Fruits Basket, Evangelion and many others

Video Games: Final Fantasy series (VII, VIII, and IX are my favorites), Grandia series, Okami, Kingdom Hearts series, Pokemon, World of Warcraft, too many others

What I like to do: Write, read, draw, embroidery, hiking, playing the flute and ocarina, making jewelry, wear tails (wolf, fox and coyote mostly) and thinking up crazy things.

What I live by: "You don't need a reason to help somebody."

Please come and read my stories and tell me what you think! I want to become a great writer because I always have these stories in my head. I love to have my OC in a lot of the different fandoms I like, so a lot of my writing doesn't get posted. But I will do what I can. I love writing.

I love to talk to people, so you want to talk about fandoms, story ideas, or if you just need someone to listen to you, feel free to message me. I've lived an interesting life and can relate to many many things. I have interesting and very different thoughts and ideas than most people have. I have been lost in the Darkness and I don't like to leave anyone in there if I can help it.

Because I'm on a Fullmetal Alchemist kick (again) and I found this quiz, I will post it and my answers! If there are any blanks, I have just skipped them to give them more thought and I will be back to fill them in.

1- How were you exposed to the phenomenon that is Fullmetal Alchemist?

Hmmm. I believe I watched the first (2003) anime on Adult Swim. I watched it again later with my daughter when Brotherhood came out. We watched the original and then Brotherhood back to back. I was then hooked. Forever.

2- What was the first episode you saw of the series? What were your thoughts then?

The very first one. What Ed did is what hooked me to the series. He performed the ultimate taboo to bring his dead mother back to life. Speaking as a person who also lost her mother as a child, I would have done the exact same thing. Even if I had known what it had done to Ed and Al. If there had been even a glimmer of a chance...

3- Your favorite character?

Ahhhh. That's hard. I cannot pick just one. Since there is no one here who can make me, I'll just list my favorites then. Edward Elric, Greed, Envy, and Solf J. Kimblee. All for different reasons.

4- Did you read the manga? What did you think?

I have read much of the manga. The art is stunning, the story is stunning, and the dialogue is stunning. So, Stunning.

5- Who’s scarier? Izumi or Hawkeye? Why?

Izumi. That's mainly because scars I have from growing up in an abusive household. But I still love her character because she doesn't hurt them because she's on a power trip. She's just trying to make them listen.

6- Your favorite Homunculus?

Again, I have several. Greed and Envy. Envy because I understand him/her and just love her to pieces! Greed because of the fact that he's awesome (and handsome) and because he is loyal and cares about his friends. He's not evil. Of course, I don't think any of the homunculus are. Except Father. He doesn't care for his children and doesn't care if they suffer and die. That is pure unadulterated evil.

7- Did you see Conqueror of Shambala? Your thoughts?

I did. It was okay. I didn't like the "this is our world" twist or the fact that Ed and Al got stuck in the wrong world. Also, making Envy suffer in his/her dragon form like that? Not cool dude.

8- Your favorite antagonist?

This is a tough one because you have to agree on what an antagonist IS. But as I understand the question, I will say Envy. Or maybe Solf? Does he count as an antagonist since he helped everyone win? Eh. Details.

9- Your thoughts on the first anime?

Personally I don't think the first anime can hold a candle to Brotherhood. Brotherhood had deeper characterization, a deeper plot, and a much more enjoyable Kimblee. The first anime wasn't bad though. It was an excellent show. I personally identified with Envy more in the first anime. He was very envious of Ed and Al for taking his father away from him. He wanted to be loved as much as those two, and no one ever did. Not his mother, not his father, no one. I understand how that feels, as I'm sure most people who's families had a favorite golden child. Although, my story about that is much darker than most.

10- Barry the Chopper: love him or hate him?

First anime, he's annoying. Second anime, I enjoyed his insaneness.

11- Your favorite fight

I'm really not sure. I'd have to really think on that one.

12- Your all-time favorite line(s)?

Too many to count. Here are a very few though.

(Greed to Ed) "I disagree. You want to bring back someone that you've lost. You might want money. Maybe you want women. Or, you might want to protect the world. These are all common things people want. Things that their hearts desire. Greed may not be good, but it's not so bad either. You humans think greed is just for money and power! But everyone wants something they don't have."

(Envy to Wrath) "What's wrong with you?! How could you let that bastard go after what he did?! You should've yanked his spine out of his mouth! It's not too late to kill him, so get to it!"

13- Would you ever take the risk and do human transmutation?

I have already stated that I would. I would. I miss you Mom. I'm sorry I don't have a kick ass power to use to try and bring you back.

14- Which artistic style did you prefer? The first anime or the manga/Brotherhood?

I'm not sure. I like both in different ways. A cop out? Yes. True? Also yes.

15- Your favorite animal/chimera character

Black Hayate!

16- Do you have a favorite episode and/or manga chapter? Why?

Yes. Manga number seven. It has my beloved Greed in most of it.

17- Do you have a favorite ship or crack pairing?

No crack pairings. I like Kimblee, Ed, Greed, and Envy in any and all of the pairings you can make from the four. I'll read just about any pairings if it's good.

18- Your thoughts on Brotherhood?

It was very very very good. I loved Brotherhood a lot.

19- What is your overall favorite moment in the series?

Envy walking in on Ed while he was naked in the bathroom. Pure gold. Also, "Still Greed!".

21- Do you think Maes Hughes is an adorable and loving father or just creepy?

I think he's an adorable and loving father. I would love a father that loved me that much! Or at all.

22- Your opinion on the anime: raw or dubbed?

Dubbed. I love the English voices better.

23- Do you have a favorite Elric brother? Why or why not?

I like Edward the best. He's more like I am and so he sings to my soul. Al reminds me of one of my younger brothers.

24- Do you have any opinions of the OST? What are they?

Opinions of the original soundtrack? I love the original soundtrack and all the songs in the show.

25- Roy Mustang: What do you think?

He's sexy and he has a great personality. I would love to be his friend. A man with a plan. I don't like what he did to Envy though.

26- Has the series impacted your life in any way? How?

It has. It's funny. It's like watching what I might have done if I was able to do what Ed and Al could. It also makes me value my brothers that much more. Also, I want a homunclus for a friend. (Or at least be able to interact with some without the risk/chance of them killing me.)

27- What attracted you to the series overall?

Ed attracted me to the series first. Like I have stated, I completely understand his need to get his mother back and I respect him taking responsibility for what he did and how he did his best to make amends. Also I loved the homunculi. I love non-humans. I also love alchemy. I remember reading about it a lot when I was younger and feeling gypt that it didn't work in our reality. Our reality is boring.

28- You know someone is an FMA fan when…

When you are searching for little homunculi figures on eBay at three in the morning. When you really really want to exist in that world.

29- What did you think of the series’ end?

I liked and yet disliked the end. It ended wonderfully and I am thankful Pride got another chance at life. I think he proves that the homunculi are not inherently evil. They were raised and taught to be that way by the only family they had; Father. I think that Greed and Envy should have survived. Envy was too good of a person to die and Envy realized at the end that all she really wanted to be happy in life was all she was taught to hate and despise. I hate you Father so God damned much. I think those two homunculi should have had a second chance at a real life. I also hated that Kimblee died like he did. He wasn't strictly evil. Just crazy with a code of honor much different than most people's. I have nothing against crazy. I couldn't and not be a hypocrite. I even have papers!

30- What do you think happens to the characters after the series ended for good?

It's pretty obvious that Ed and Winrey got married and had children at the end. That was okay with me. Al looked like he hooked up with May, which is also good. Ling became emperor. Pretty standard stuff that people would guess I would say. But I will also say what I want to happen. That somehow, someone (I'm looking at YOU God) will have mercy on Greed and Envy and bring them back to life, (Souls intact) so they can have a PROPER life. Also Kimblee. He's too awesome to be dead. (Yeah he's insane, but who of us aren't? I love the man)
