Author has written 29 stories for Kirby, Mario, Lengendary Starfy, Luigi's Mansion, and Super Smash Brothers.
Thank you, Mr. Iwata, for all your work at Nintendo. I know I'm a little late with this, but I just can't believe you're gone. We'll all miss you...

Personal Quote: MECHANICAL ENGINEERS BUILD WEAPONS. CIVIL ENGINEERS BUILD TARGETS. -Unknown
(...don't worry. I'm going into mechanical engineering. I'll give you a laser for the discounted price of .5 million US dollars. ...I wish. I can't do any of that yet...)
As a note: I've been trying to make a note to myself to complete any project I start before posting it. Why? Well there are several reasons, but let me just say this: life explosions, college work, editing for a friend who'll publish, a spare request or two, muse shifts, and the knowledge that you guys would be left hanging forever. So, to avoid lengthy breaks in story updates, I'm holding back chaptered projects until I'm done (unless I know for SURE I could finish them in time). I'm also having a little oneshot bank to fill in case the semester is tough and my muse breaks. But, my mother wants me to study in advance for one of my classes, so I might have to take part of August out for it...unless I can get another easier class. Actually, I just might do that. Who cares about showing off a mandatory crap elective anyways?
Here are the stories in the oneshot bank, with their title and number of words. ...provided I update this often.
Stories in the Oneshot Bank (2): It's Just a Story (~2500), Ice Sculpture (~2500) (CAN I GET THREE IN A ROW FOR 2500?!)
Holiday Oneshots/Short Stories: (Empty Vault...)
StreetPass Plaza's 'Find Mii' parody: Now titled 'Help Mii, Save Mii!' Although, I am working on Find Mii II first since it's longer and I wanted to get a head start.
'Help Mii, Save Mii!': 0% Complete.
'A Quest, To Anybodii Willing...': Introduction completed, first chapter in-progress, possibly overlapping to second chapter.
I have been recording the progress I've made on 'Quest' since the writing I did after the first wandering heroes segment. I was running out of stamina, so I decided to tape them off my mother's camera and watch them later without having to sit there and write everything out before I played. Now all I have to do is polish up the 'wandering heroes' segment, which shouldn't be too hard. I might post them all as I post the chapters, because I have some viewers who aren't familiar with StreetPass Quest/Find Mii (StreetPass Quest is for PAL, I believe. Funny; I didn't even MEAN to put 'Quest' in the second story's title, yet it happened!)
I might think of doing the prequel to the 'Find Mii' series as well, which I believe is 'Warrior's Way'? We'll see. I don't want to burn you guys out, I don't know what the future holds, and I don't even have the game yet.
I don't do requests (I get nervous because I like to do things my way!), but I welcome feedback and/or critique on my stories!
For those who still want more story status info: I have a journal on deviantart to track it. Lemme see if FFN won't kill the link if I add some spaces. thecosmicpenguin . deviantart . com /journal/Current-Story-Statuses-Statii-545544203
(Because somebody needed to say something about this and you KNOW it.)
Even though the hero had the more tragic backstory, the villain is always more sympathetic. Now, no matter how stereotypical or poorly-written your story becomes, I will still try to finish it out. But anything that fits in this, particularly mentioned above, I will have to clench my teeth through. This is open to A LOT of misinterpretation, but if you wanna discuss it, I'm open to explaining it. But generally, this is where people give the villain a sympathetic backstory and they're immediately better than the hero, even when the hero's past is a complete bomb and is WORSE than the villain's supposedly terrible backstory.
The ruthless villain becomes a good guy in a split second because he/she is the author's favorite character. AND THEY HAVE NO LEGITIMATE EXCUSE besides saying 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that' and expecting the heroes to believe him that second. I can't STAND this. It's rarely done with tact, and when it IS, it's STILL unbelievable, and THEN I SEE THE REVIEWS SECTION FILLED WITH PEOPLE SAYING IT'S GREAT AND WONDERFUL AND IN-CHARACTER! It drives me nuts!
When people's opinions come off too obviously in stories. This happens a LOOOT. Like, I see it every time Fumu/Tiff is brought up, with the Meta Knight haters (who are usually just pissed off and don't have any justification), with the Magolor fangirls (Magolor is Kirby's ONLY FRIEND), when Gooey/Marx is Kirby's only friend (pattern?), with Escargon/goon fangirls (though fortunately I don't see many of them), and with other characters, sometimes when anime-only writers don't do their research on a prominent in-game character that they incorporate (two come to mind...) You may have made it sound like a story, but I still sway toward the 'troll fic' side and just avoid the stories.
People in the reviews who claim that the story made something canon. SOMETHING IS CANON IF THE DESIGNERS MADE IT/PRODUCED IT OFFICIALLY. THE STORY THAT HAS THE SAME FAN THEORIES AS YOU IS NOT CANON BECAUSE THE DESIGNERS DID NOT MAKE IT. The story can fit in with canon, but that doesn't necessarily MAKE it canon (unless the designers come to you and make it so).
Extra OCs: Somehow, I ended up like the FFN originals. I am a purist and the more unnecessary OCs you have, the less likely I am to take a peek. The main character's an orphan, and no parents/relatives were ever mentioned? Sure, go ahead. The main character is an OC that plays the love interest of the character that the author coincidentally has a crush on? That...isn't really needed. Especially when that character already has a potential love interest in-story, or MORE than one. I want to read about my world of favorite characters; naturally I want THEM to get the most screentime! I understand OCs are essential to any story, but so many people load them up as main characters...
'As a Professional Engineer, I dedicate my professional knowledge and skill to the advancement and betterment of human welfare. I pledge:
1. To give the utmost of performance.
2. To participate in none but honest enterprise.
3. To live and work according to the laws of man and the highest standards of professional conduct.
4. To place service before profit, the honor and standing of the profession before personal advantage, and the public welfare above all other considerations.
In humility and with need for Divine Guidance, I make this pledge.'
(Abridged version of the Engineer's Creed)
I am a perfectionist, engineer, and soon-to-be college sophomore. Anything else you wanted to know could be found out through stalking me, reading my stories, or PMing me.
Real Name: Jordan.
Gender: The gender that 90% of people on this site are.
Age: 17 (People on here assume I'm really old because I'm in college, but people who see me in real life think I'm twelve!)
Quirks: Over-serious, over-complicated, socially awkward, special--wait a minute, only lucky people know about that last one...
Game Series: Generally anything Nintendo-related will at least grab my interest (I am DIEHARD Nintendo fangirl and you can't change that), but I'd say Kirby, Mario, Legendary Starfy, Animal Crossing, Picross, Smash Bros, and Pokémon would be what I know most about it. I don't get any games outside of their mains unless it involved one of those franchises, like the 'Mario & Sonic Olympics' series; yes, I know I'm a purist, thank you very much.
Pairings: I pretty much always do classic pairings if they work out well; for alternate pairings, I'd be satisfied with anything as LONG AS IT REASONABLY WORKS OUT FOR SOME ACTUAL REASON. Like, it's not too random. One thing you should note, though, is that I usually don't support cross-dimension pairings (like Smash Bros pairings, example--MKxJigglypuff). Pairings that are new, rare, or unheard of that actually work, like AdeleinexMeta Knight, I will usually try, even if they aren't my absolute all-time favorite, because I'm open-minded and the pairings I like shouldn't decide whether or not I read your fic, especially if it's good. (shoutout to StarRod! Go read this fic!)
Surprise Fact: I was homeschooled. I'm probably the oddest one out of the all except for the fakers, though--go figure. I don't like being grouped in with the rest of them at all, and am currently trying to find a good excuse to avoid saying I was homeschooled so that I'm not immediately negatively stereotpyed. Any suggestions are very welcome.
(Also a side note: I am a Christian. No religious riots intended. I just feel bad for not copy-and-pasting all those endless copy and pastes.)
That's it. No more bio. Oh wait a minute, did you want my Nintendo 3DS friend code? I won't list it here because there's really no point (since you can't register someone as a friend until you BOTH enter each other's codes), but if you want it, ask. The games I can play with you as of now are Mario Kart 7, Mario Tennis Open, and Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon.
Pairing Oneshots: Has anybody ever read 'Angst of a Plumber'? It inspired me to do a similar scenario, except with Adeleine, Meta Knight, and Waddle Dee instead of Peach, Bowser, and Mario. Also, I have a bit of work on my two favorite pairings (the classics, of course, which would be KirbyxRibbon and FumuxMeta Knight), but they're REALLY long...
Amazing Mirror Oneshots, specifically, Shadow Kirby-centric Oneshots
Kirby GCN: The Forgotten Tale: Will have to undergo MAJOR plot planning for it to be good. EDIT: Have you ever tried writing an entire scrapped game from some rumors (kirbywikia), a handful of screenshots and concept art, and a one-minute trailer? Yeah, impossible, but...I feel that picking up something HAL scrapped...it's something special. Clearly they cared about it enough to keep referencing it, so I thought that rebuilding it might boost their morale. Provided they even found out, but even if they didn't, I wanted to raise fandom awareness that HAL scrapped a lot of good Kirby ideas.
Anything Else: Is something that I'm keeping a secret because I don't want to have to guarantee that I'm working on something.
Fics I Need to Fix (haha, get it? Fics, Fix? ...No?):
Cool and Calm: I hadn't written in a year when I wrote this. Now it wasn't terrible, but there were some minor things I needed to fix, so I figured 'What the heck; I may as well give it a complete reboot...'
Revision Level: 2/4, 65% completed.
Trying: I'm not sure whether or not I'll edit this. I felt it could have been better, but...I'm not sure how. I wanted to keep the mood. At this point, revising it may completely destroy it, which I obviously wouldn't want since people already favorited it.
Wanting: I could've done so much better; it definitely should've been multichaptered. The only reason people would favorite this thing is because they agreed with the fan theory, and I don't want that for one of my stories.
Revision Level: 0% I'm unsure about how I'm going to rewrite it.
5/24: Changed 'Helping' 's name to 'Helping a Stranger', since it fit more with the point/morals as well as matching up with the actual beginning game cutscene (which was actually TITLED 'Helping a Stranger'). It also sounds/feels stronger for the work; 'Helping' was just a little too abstract. That was okay on 'Trying' because the scenario WAS abstract, but 'Helping' had strong solidity, and I wanted the title to be strong as well.
5/31: Deleted 'Dim Star', reworked 'You Dropped This' and changed the summary, and edited a few other things in some stories' descriptions. Mainly just polishing things up.
7/5: After a bunch of things happened, I repaired 'Fish Fry'! It is no longer riddled with glaring story/grammatical errors, despite the note saying that I wasn't going to fix them all! Also fixed up 'Unnamed', so hopefully the rougher spots are all smoothed out so it's near-perfect! (I'd say perfect, but no story is perfect. Someone will always complain. )
7/5: Also, a separate note: 'Planning' is cancelled. I am replacing it with a better-suited story to the game, rather than what I was originally intending. So, there will still be another story about Air Ride's origin, but it won't be solely on its origin. What does that mean? You'll find out, when I get around to it...(meaning a long time)
7/21: I went ahead and published 'Drifting'. I'm sorry, but I need an audience experience again; I've been without since practically January...
7/25: I completely tore apart 'Ice Sculpture' and rewrote it! Now it sounds like an actual story instead of something I whipped up halfway while waiting for a ride from final exams!
Also, just so I don't have to say this in all my stories: I do not own any franchises I write about.
