Author has written 12 stories for Hunger Games, Nineteen Minutes, and Mortal Instruments.
Hey I'm Ally!
I am sixteen and going into grade eleven. I am a cheerleader (hence the name StraitLegScorp). I work at Tims and it sucks but I make money and that's all I care about. I love reading but I hate libraries. I like to own my books and I don't like reading something that so many other people have touched.
I am Canadian, eh? So sorry to all of you Americans about my spelling. I don't live in an igloo or ride a polar bear to school, SO DON'T ASK (I know you're thinking 'why would she say that?' but surprisingly enough, I've actually been asked before O_o). I have four seasons just like most other places, so no, it doesn't snow here all of the time.
I don't enjoy writing under pressure. I like to write when I want to write and what I want to write. I don't like writing long stories because I get bored of them easily and I am probably the least creative person in the world. I love to write because I think it's fun. I aspire to be an author (which will probably never happen), but I find myself clueless about story ideas. I also still have a whole lot to learn about writing, since I'm only sixteen.
Some would say that I am a nerd who wastes her spare time living in imaginary worlds. I prefer to think of myself as an intelligent person who avoids pointless social events to do better things like live in imaginary worlds.
My favourite book that I've read so far this year is The Fault in Our Stars by the wonderful John Green. I'm not normally a fan of all of that mushy, fluffy stuff, but it's a really, really amazing book. And it's sad but funny at the same time. I like actually laughed while I was crying. No joke. It's also one of those books that you just can't write fanfics about. I don't know why, but I just can't.
If you have any questions about books I've read or book recommendations, just send me a message! XD
Though I'm not a victim of bullying, I hate it. If you've ever bullied someone, or even thought about bullying someone, you're an asshole. Nobody deserves to be treated like that, no matter their appearance or personality. Besides, you don't know what's going on at home, how that person is treated by their family. Many more people than you think are abused. Which brings me to ignorance. Just because people have parents that love and cherish them, they don't see those who aren't treated with such kindness or love. Wealthy people don't realize how many poor people there are out there, just barely getting by, or not getting by at all. I come from a wealthy family, but believe it or not, I am not blind to poverty and abuse.
I write fanfics and some of my own stuff when I get ideas. So yeah, enjoy!
Peace, love and sparkles,
