Author has written 7 stories for Sonic the Hedgehog, Pokémon, Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, and Fate/stay night.
Hello to all of you FanFiction writers out there! I bet you came here wanting to find more about me, and you are not to be disappointed.
First of all, I will tell you why I chose the username that I did.
The main reason: I am always right about everything. (Yes, even that incident with the crickets, radioactive Jell-O, and 2500-Ohm resistors - no matter how much it seemed like a failure. I tell you, IT WAS *NOT*!!!)
And whose nose knows like no other nose?
Therefore, it should be obvious who and what I am: I am a gnome.
But how old am I? Simple: Sixty bajillion degrees, measured on the distance scale in units of Juliets.
So as not to destroy the world with my infinitely miniscule mass of wisdom accumulated over the eons, I only exist in this feeble world within the guise of a nineteen-year-old male named [censored for privacy, a master of ninny-jutsu, Thai Chee, Car-ah-Tea, hyperbole, and astrophysics. Of course, those achievements all pale in comparison to my mastery of the art of sneezing.
I've advanced so far in that discipline that I can trigger a sneeze in somebody halfway across the world just by talking about them; but still, there's always more to come in terms of skills.
But now, to take a step in a different direction, and I'm on my way to being known better by my fellow authors.
(Or maybe I could be a troll, which would mean I'm gonna start all over again!)
Hello to all of you FanFiction writers out the... no, too boring and predictable.
Instead of telling you about who I am, I will list the qualities I enjoy reading and attempt to employ in my fanfics.
First of all, my favorite genre: Humor. I always enjoy getting a good laugh out of what I read; however, what I deem a "good laugh" does not involve the usage of dirty jokes or anything like that. (If I'm in the mood for it, sometimes I even find troll-fics quite entertaining.)
Humor is not the only genre that I read, though; as long as it's well-written, I enjoy reading most genres.
By well-written, I mean fics with proper grammar, a cohesive plotline, believable and dynamic (but not the over-the-top kind of dynamic) characters, engaging dialogue, and smooth flow of events.
Such qualities, as I stated before, are what I strive for in my stories.
ASDF, Sonic Style: An attempt at adapting the ASDFmovies into the world of Sonic the Hedgehog while keeping it suitable for an audience rating of K plus. ABANDONED.
Fate/Stay Pokemon: Unlimited Tauros Works:
Omake Files: fate/sword Tuesday:
Just Another Tuesday: The original plot bunny, spurred on by Clemont's overly complex invention names (title based on the trope "But For Me, It Was Tuesday"). What would happen if an attempt to create gameverse!Super Training resulted in the creation of a set of NerveGear helmets, and Ash and Serena ended up trapped inside Sword Art Online? Well, Ash rediscovers his Aura and Serena gains Psychic abilites, for one thing...
Taking a Sick Day: Oneshot retelling of XYZ Episode 22, set completely in the Pokemon world. With all the 'reinterpretations' of that episode being posted, I felt like it was my duty to see how it would play out if Tuesday-verse!Ash and Serena were placed in that situation - and somehow, it turned into an almost-life-or-death situation thanks to the continuity of Movie 8. But even so, the story is still relaxed enough to poke fun at itself while also setting up a plot point used later on in the series. COMPLETED.
Something to Do On the Weekend: Where the first story told the Aincrad Arc, this installment covers ALFheim. Small changes from Aincrad continue to build here, resulting in a new twist on the Yggdrasil Assault and its aftermath, and Ash learns how to convert an Aura Sphere into a Moonblast thanks to his time as a Fairy. Also, the whole "Suguha falls for Kirito because she confused storge for eros and then found out that Kazuto is devoted to Asuna" debacle is sidestepped, and Jotunheim/Excaliber (which I may or may not end up reaching) is foreshadowed. COMPLETED.
A Swordsman's Holiday: Would Ash really interact with someone semi-regularly for more than two years during his Kalos journey and not invite them to watch him at the League Conference? Canon!Ash, maybe - but thanks to various dimensional shenanigans involving Arceus (whose divinity grants awareness of the fourth wall), a new wrench is thrown into Lysandre's plans to destroy and remake the world. And what "Kirito in the Pokemon world" story would be complete without him catching a member of the Honedge line? The narration style occasionally varies somewhat from the previous stories, but that's just the price I have to pay when a major supporting character can see past the fourth wall. CURRENTLY POSTING.
Due to my moral code, I am a "Gosh Dang It To Heck" kind of person (see TvTropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/GoshDangItToHeck for more info), and thus disapprove when people use coarser forms of the words "shoot," "crud," "darn," etc. - especially in fics rated K or K-plus.
I also disapprove of slash-fics (either yaoi or yuri) - I would much rather see friendship-style "bromance" between the characters.
Thirdly, I disapprove of fics that involve underage and/or premarital couples acting in manners reserved for those who are married.
And that leads to the final item on my disapproval list: Lemon-fics (or even limes), due to the content required for such.
Thus, if recommending fanfics to me, please try and avoid suggesting stories that contain such material.
Please note, however, that I am not trying to push my beliefs onto other people - you are your own person, and I respect that.
Thus, I will not flame anyone else's writing, and I would prefer it if you would extend the same courtesy to others.
(Of course, even if you do try flaming me, my human avatar's Flash Fire ability will just allow him to cook his hamburgers faster.)
Thank you for your time, and good night (or morning or afternoon or whenever you are reading this).
And remember: if Susan won't let you steal her pies, the fallback plan is to eat Steve. (Jeff said so.)
