Tips for WritingThink "How would English/Writing Teacher want this?" and then write a bit more. Writing at least a paragraph in review can be a start. You need to know when to plan and when to just go. Form opinions that don't conform to what others think, even if you do completely agree with them. I find that being opinionated with your own unique viewpoint really helps with coming up with formulating ideas. When you write a story, in the end the readers opinions and thoughts are just there to help you make your work better. Your's is the only one that matters at the very end of everything, do you satisfied and entertained by the work and end result? Learn to love the Dictionary and Thesaurus, even it's only the internet one. Sleep - It awesome to have it, even short naps, and it's kinda neat to skip it, as long as when and how much you get is under your control. This YouTube Playlist here that I compiled: Creative Processes. With all of the playlist on the channel I suggest playing it on Random. Art: You don't know what exactly your making until you're done making it. that is why there are Rough Drafts and Freewriting, to get closer to the great idea that is the final work.
Challenges / Idea's for Others
These are ideas that I would really like to see put into action, but I don't want to do due to a lack of innate knowledge about one thing or another. For example I find the Killzone story to be decent with quite a lot of potential, but I'm an Xbox dude so I'm likely never going to play it unless I get rich.Replace the Ancient Humans that fought the Forerunners in HALO with the Precursors from Assassins Creed, then go wild with it. I'm not sure how this would work, but it would be interesting. A EVE Online story that dramatizes the experience of an EVE Online player in the form of a character that worked and studied hard to be a Capsuleer, and goes on to interact with DUST mercenaries and is the starting point for a fictional corporation and then Alliance. It would also be recommended to tie this story into the Lore of EVE and make sure that the entirety of the story is both the reader and the character learning about and getting immersed into the universe of EVE without boring or overwhelming the reader, getting the protagonist to starting feeling bored and overwhelmed in the story is different matter. A Dragon Age / Mass Effect crossover where the Qunari encounter the rest of the galaxy and the ensuing war. Either redevelop the races of Mass Effect into fantasy races or redevelop the Qunari in a space faring civilization. A decent Killzone (cross-over) story, I know the difficulty that is caused by the franchise being unsure on what it's themes are. Highschool DxD with Gender-bending thrown in, the Female Issei dreams of sexy guys and her Reverse Harem. This is too good of an Idea to be left undone, if no one does it I will (eventually). Shirou Emiya of Fate Stay/Night becomes the pilot of the Valvrave instead of Haruto; This came to mind while I was making comparisons to Magecraft and the powers in Valvrave. Mass Effect needs more Giant Robots. A Sonic / Megaman crossover inspired by the Eggman vs. Wily DEATH BATTLE! Have Bass as the Anti-Hero and Metal Sonic as the ultimate Villain. I like the the weapon arm sword from Battle Network and the Rooster Teeth fanimation. Something combining Little Witch Academia and RWBY. A Destiny x Mass Effect crossover. Commander Shepard sees the power of a Guardian and The City underneath The Traveler. Also a Guardian faces Commander Shepard's enemies and says "I've seen worse".
Mine"Needler to the Face!" Because Needlers are awesome "Give me food or give me brains." Hunger groan "Everything needs more giant robots." Does anything else need to be uttered for awesomeness "My muse is a fickle and needy mistress." She does not seem to agree with my obsessive tendency of doing things non-stop until done.
Other People's"The mind of a writer can be a truly terrifying thing. Isolated, neurotic, caffeine addled, crippled by procrastination, consumed by feelings of panic, self-loathing and soul-crushing inadequacy... and that's on a good day." - Robert De Niro, found this on DinoJake's Word-Works. "Reading is Knowledge, Knowledge is Power, Power Kills, Kill Everything." - Bulletin Board of DarkAchievementCity.
Star Wars Questionnaire
Jensaari1's Answer's, Found out about the questionnaire from there.Jedi or Sith? Sith. The Sith code allows for my driven mindset and honestly selfish goals, while the Jedi code just goes against what feel I need to do to live my life to the fullest. Favorite Worlds? Korriban and Hypori. Both these worlds have promises of a myriad of great and hidden powers, Korriban with it's Sith lore and Hypori with it's Separatist Droid war factories. Type of lightsaber, Lightsaber color and fighting style? Dual Lightsabers with Red/Harsh Pink in one Lightsaber and Violet in the other. The style I would use is my own fusion of Form VI Niman with Juyo supplementing it and I would practice advanced telekinetic saber moves. I would study to make this style is Faalo's Cadences, and sometimes what General Grievous does. Favorite Species? Colicoids, dangerous and talented but they don't really care for the rest of the galaxy, just MEAT; I can definitely relate to that mindset and I'm envious of the cool stuff they make. Favorite Vehicle? It's an interesting choice between the StarViper Attack Platform, or the World Devastator. As a Side note the Vulture Droid Starfighter and the Hyena Bomber Droid based on it are things that always catch my interest with their mechanical design. If you were a Jedi which master would I want? Anakin Skywalker If you were a Sith which master would I want? Darth Revan If you were a Sith, then what would my "Darth" Name be? Darth Machinator. I like mechanical / droid designs and I like coming up with ideas. Favorite film? Episode 6. I had the awesome Battle of Endor and was a satisfying conclusion to Galactic Civil War and the drama of the SKywalker family. Least favorite film? Episode 2, The world building that I saw with Kamino and Geonosis and the Battle of Geonosis itself is not worth watching the movie as a whole. If I could write my own Star Wars novel, what would it be about? A story involving a World Devastator that escaped the self-destruct command or droid gladiators. Something with mecha-like droids, or possibly a "good-guy" Sith where he doesn't want to take over the galaxy he just want's to protect and be with his family, as well as the heavy toll that this brings on him and those he tries to take care of. Which film has the best soundtrack? Episode 3 Do you collect figures? No, but I try to make models so I might get a Star Wars model eventually, likely an X-wing to put next to a VF-27 toy. In your opinion, what is the best thing about the EU? The Video Games, I really love getting immersed into a unique Star Wars story that has it's own unique flavor to it while still being like the Star Wars Movies. I like being a Jedi in the Jedi Knight:Jedi Academy Game and how the Knight of the Old Republic 2 allowed on to explore learn about the mysteries of the galaxy and make your own decision on how you choose to interact with it; I also liked how Republic Commando and Battlefield gave me an experience of what it's actually to be in the wars of this galaxy far, far, away. In your opinion, what is the worst thing about the EU? How it seems disorganized for it's size and how more recent developments in Star Wars disrupts and confuses the lore, which is already hard to catalogue. This all culminates into likely the most unendingly annoying thing about the Wookieepedia, the buttons that switch between "Canon" and "Legends" material for a page's material. What does Star Wars mean to you? A setting that is the embodiment of what a young kid imagines when they play an amazing adventure with amazing technology, numerous strange new places and inhabitants, with a kind of "magic" to everything to it.
