Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter. Hi all, Sorry I've been away for more than a little while, well, if anyone who originally read my stories is still out there. Now that I have some time on my hands and correctly diagnosed as bipolar (meaning now that I am medicated I wont randomly disapear) I hope I can make some amends and finally finish some of my fiction. The stories and where they are at. Sink or Swim is my current love child, and will be the one getting the most attention from me. Won 1st place in an Original Character contest. Beta Reader is Dances With Vampires, whose stories I reccommend you have a look at. Making her Proud is a one shot challenge peice for a Regulus Black competition. Family Love has been updated and revamped. No more will be done to this one, popular demand will not continue it. McGonagall and the Vet is a new one shot Fic that was inspired whilst reworking A New Understanding. Its rushed, but will be given some fine tuning. Ash and Bone is an old one shot (which I discovered I never posted) in Voldemorts POV as he struggles to find hosts to help him return to his human form. Pick Me! Pick Me! is old and example of pig swill that I used to write, and given what has since happened between me and the "co-author" (or rather my now former fiance and the co-author) absolutely nothing will be happening with this. Please give feedback as this is the first time I have chewed past my writers block in three years. "I have challenged myself! I'm proud to be a part of the HPFC forum." Note: If you have received a review from me which you interpret as offencive, I appologise. Long ago I asked myself what I would want in a review, and the only answer I could come up with is the truth. I will never tell you your story is bad, that you should scrap it, and give up all dreams of writing. What I will tell you is things and ways that you can improve, and it is your choice to take it or leave it. If there is something you read in one of my stories, I would hope that you show the same concideration, and tell me ways that I can improve, or things that you just liked. Thank you. I don't normally add chain mail stuff, but I just love this one, OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. |
