Author has written 3 stories for Hunger Games, and Jane Eyre.
So, I'm Jane. I'm 54. I have no business and no time screwing around with this stuff, but, thanks to a slightly obsessive personality, I'm hooked. due to the joy of hormonal swings, I am frequently awake at odd hours. Luckily, many of you are too.
I have eclectic tastes in music and litereature. I sing in a choir ( no solos for everyone's safety). I would go to a movie every day if I could. I am a good cook, ocassionally great.
I have always wanted to write. Who knows?

With the help of BadOldWestern I finally published my first wee story. Amazingly, folks are actually reading it! Some even listed it as their favorite!? I thank them all for their support.
The story was inspired by a very sensual painting by Jean August Ingres. "Odalisque" is a term for a concubine in the Ottoman sultan's harem, coming from the word for chambermaid. The image of Katniss laying on her side, posing for Peeta popped in my mind and for once I didn't really think too much about it, but began to write instead. I'm imaginging her older, over some of her shyness, having lived with "Mr. Natural" for so many years. No kids yet. Just a lot of sweet time together. We shall see where else Peeta's paintbrush can take them.
