Author has written 2 stories for StarTrek: Other, and StarTrek: The Next Generation.

Jolan tru, readers. Thanks for visiting my profile page.

About my stories and me:

I'm a fan of most Trek (TOS, TNG, and DS9), Firefly, and early Doctor Who. My favorite Trek aliens are Romulans and Vulcans, and my favorite stories are those that include convincing, well-thought-out worldbuilding for those two alien cultures.

My stories stick pretty closely to canon as far as TOS, TNG, and DS9 are concerned. Sometimes I'll take liberties with very minor points of canon, so feel free to consider my stories AU if this bothers you. You may also spot occasional continuity nods to other licensed Trek works. It's fun to write in a well-established universe built by so many loyal fans and professionals.

I haven't watched much Enterprise or Voyager. Enterprise, in particular, has been a disappointment, compared to the rest of the TV franchise. Oddly enough, however, Enterprise fanfics are among my favorites. Some fan writers out there are so talented and imaginative, they manage to transcend the weaknesses of the series.

I've just acquired a new hero in the field of fiction writing. Novelist Terry McMillan said in a recent NPR interview:

"I write novels because I wish I was a magician. And I wish I could fix things that are wrong, or things that hurt us, and how we hurt ourselves or how others hurt us. And I write things that I'm tired of, that exhaust me, emotionally, and because I want to... show how hard things can be, but what happens if we deal with them instead of running from them."

And that, after all, is the essence of fanfiction. Because in our imaginations, we can fix anything.
