Hello everyone, CharmingCharles2896 here,

Just call me Charming, here are some things you need to know or maybe just forgot, I'm a 28 year old college graduate. I absolutely adore the TV show Chuck which aired from 2007-2012. I originally came to fanfiction back in may of 2012 after Chuck had ended its run on NBC; I was mourning the loss of the TV show that had done so much to shape me as a person, even after only three season (I missed seasons one and two live sadly.) In my Chuck fueled desperation I found a story titled "Chuck vs. What's Next" that story was a continuation and it fixed everything, happily ever after. It was the healing that I needed after the bitter ending for my favorite show. After what they'd done to my favorite character (Sarah Walker, she's the bomb!), I needed that story. Let's just say, I was addicted at that point and I quickly set about consuming all the stories I could find. By mid summer of 2012, I was determined to write my own story, which I did. I titled it "Chuck vs Old Friends" it was the typical, Chuck and Sarah meet in high school and fall in love story... I was terrible, the story was terrible, I'm ashamed of it XD. The story is no longer on this website (for good reason mind you.) After that story, I began "Blacksparrow" which is still up today; that story was my first multi-chapter story. It's rough, but it shows even then what I was all about thematically, emotion, moral choices, personal growth, recovery, reconciliation, all of that was there even in the beginning. After "Blacksparrow" there were some other false starts that I never did anything with, before I posted "The Trip Up North" That story was a bit more ambitious from me, longer, more AU, but with my graduating from high school and beginning film school, it was never finished. I didn't return to fanfiction as a writer for six years after that, I stuck around as a reader, but not a vocal one. Then, COVID-19 shut the world down for two years. My father and I decided to watch the series Chuck over again, it had been years since I'd done so and he hadn't since the show left TV. I'd forgotten how amazing the show was, how funny, how emotionally deep it was, how perfectly imperfect it was. When we got to Chuck's red test, the entire situation made me so angry that I was inspired to write! it is worth mentioning that just because I stopped writing fanfiction doesn't mean I stopped writing, far from it actually. After my days in the Chuck fanfiction community, I discovered the world of erotic fiction and the website literotica. I was a college student, we're all trying to find ourselves at that age, so I am not ashamed of my time over there. My time over on Literotica did much to help me hone my craft and improve as a writer. That ended with the shutdown; with the shutdown came Chuck marathons, Chuck marathons brought inspiration, and inspiration brought me back here. "Contrition" was the first story I published on this website since September 4th, 2014 and the response to chapter one was amazing. I've been writing like crazy ever since my return and I don't think i'll be stopping any time soon. I've made so many friends and met so many amazing people since my return, that I just couldn't imagine giving this thing up again. I did a collaboration with FFN user nevr under the username charmR, we co-wrote a Chuck story titled "All Alone, Together: Lockdown '07" i'm really proud of how it turned out so if you're a fan of my work or nevr's work, then I highly recommend you go check it out! He's a really good friend of mine on here, he's beta'd a whole bunch of my new stories and been my sounding board for a bunch of other stuff. I can honestly say that I love the Chuck fan fiction community and cannot imagine m life without it right now. I'm here to stay everybody so stay tuned for more from Charming.
