Hello everybody! I am Valerie Johnson, and some of you may know me from either Flipnote Hatena or my other fanfic account SonicGirl2002! I made this new account so that I can write fanfiction for the game Ghost Tricks:Phantom Detective. Seriously, it's like the best game ever! I highly recommend it! If you haven't played the game and want to, or are in the process of playing the game, read no further! The rest of this bio contains spoilers for the game! If you were expecting to learn about me (like the crazy stalkers some of you are, don't deny it!) feel free to check out the bio on my SonicGirl account. There, you will find information about me.
Ghost Tricks:Phantom Detective
About My Three Favorite Characters:
Sissel- Ah, yes! The main character! Sissel wakes up in a junkyard one night, and the first thing he sees is a woman with a gun pointed at her. He'd love to help her, but he has one little problem...he's already dead himself. Then, Sissel discovers he has Powers of the Dead called Ghost Tricks, also known as the ability to possess and manipulate inanimate objets. Sissel then learns that he can also go back 4 minutes before a person's death and try to change their fate. But, being dead and having magical powers comes with a price...his memories. Sissel can't remeber who he is. Therefore, 3 questions arise:
Who is he?
Why was he killed?
And of course...
Who killed him?
With the help of his new detective friend Lynne, Sissel finds the answers to all his questions, but, in the process, gets a little more than he bargained for.
Yomiel- Or as most people know him, the manipulator. We first meet Yomiel on the security tape, where we see Lynne shooting Sissel. Yeah, that's not really Lynne. That's Yomiel. And the guy "Lynne" shot? That's not even Sissel. That's Yomiel. He also has Powers of the Dead, only his powers are different. Whereas Sissel can only manipulate inanimate objects, Yomiel is able to manipulate live creatures. Hence the name, the manipulator. But when did Yomiel get his powers? Hm...well, let's see. Remember the whole "Temsik meteorite" incident? Where Lynne was taken hostage by a man and Jowd chased after him? That man was Yomiel. When the Temsik meteorite fell,a piece of the meteorite -a fragment- stabbed him in the back, pierced his heart, and he died. Or did he? The Temsik fragment that was lodged in Yomiel's body was regenerating him between the moment of life and death. Basically, that fragment prevented him from aging. It also made him unable to feel pain or be injured. And that's how it went, for ten years. And during those ten years, Yomiel slowly, but surely, continued his descent into insanity...
Lynne-Lynne, everyone's favorite redheaded detective who has a knack for getting in trouble. And I mean a LOT of trouble! She dies five times in one night! It all starts in a junkyard on the outskirts of town...she gets shot by a hitman. Then, she gets shot by...well, another hitman. Following that death was death by a murder machine, and after that she was crushed under a giant chicken. And her final death of the night was when a ceiling caved in on her. And yes, Sissel went back in time and prevented every single one. Lynne is a very determined detective. She is currently looking into a case that closed five years ago, becuase she believes the person was innocent. She takes Sissel up on his offer to work together, and she finds out she's tied to both Sissel and Yomiel in more ways than she first thought.
As much as I love Sissel and adore Lynne, I gotta say Yomiel. I, for the life of me, have no idea why. At first, I hated Yomiel. Not only because at first, he was an evil and somewhat creepy dude, but...well, actually, that is why. He could control people, and he killed Kamila's mother. So, yeah, I hated him. Then, when we learned about him on the Yonoa after he saved Lynne and Kamila (hated that Chapter btw), it went from hate to 'Eh, the guy's ok.' Then when they all went to the control room and we learned his name, it went from 'Eh, the guy's ok' to 'Hey, this guy's pretty awesome!' Then, we went back to the day ten years ago when Temsik fell. And I'm pretty sure that's what did it. It went from 'Hey, this guy's pretty awesome!' to full blown 'OMG I love this charrie soooooo much!' I've replayed the final chapter at least six times, and I tear up everytime it talks about how Yomiel's fiance killed herself to be with him, but it turned out all she really did was seperate them forever...but hey, she came back right? And everything was a-ok in the end!
