Author has written 7 stories for Young Justice.
Struggling professional by day, vigilante writer by night.
DC Rebirth - Suddenly I'm cautiously optimistic. It didn't hurt that my favorite character is back and leading the charge. Rebirth is a great read, everyone seems to love it, and it returns the legacy aspect without completely scrapping some of the good things about the New 52. I'm totally onboard with two Wally Wests, and it's a blast to see the Flash family back together. Is there room for a snarky blonde archer too? We'll see :) I hope DC continues putting their best foot forward. Geoff Johns is a god amongst men, and Dan Didio needs to stay quiet and sit in the corner.
DC TV Universe - They're what superhero shows are supposed to be, a hell of a lot of fun.
DC Movie Universe - Ouch, rough start. Marvel Movies are still the gold standard.
Shows You Should Have Seen Or Be Watching Now - The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Legion, Gotham, Daredevil, Luck Cage, Iron Fist, Walking Dead, Homeland, Breaking Bad, Southland, Sons of Anarchy, Justified, Billions, True Detective, Agents of Shield, Arrested Development, Archer, Community...the list goes on. And now season three of Young Justice? I can't believe it's actually happening.
Why I Write - Because it’s satisfying, because I want others to read and enjoy the movies playing inside my mind, because I like interacting and chatting with readers and fellow authors, because Wally West was my Flash growing up and that guy doesn’t exist anymore, because I’m still kind of a nerd and enjoy geeky things, but most importantly it keeps me sane and no one has come knocking on my door and asked me to write “The Spitfire” movie we all want to see...yet.
Words of Wisdom - Brian May is the most talented intelligent rock star still alive. Self-deprecation keeps you humble. Geek Cred, Sports Acuity and Pop-Culture Proficiency will get you farther in life than you think. A thesaurus is your friend. Love Twitter, FB, and Tumblr, but know there's better ways to waste your day. The world is too fine a place to only live it online
Author's Note - If typos ruin the story, then you probably won't like my mine. If they live that long then they deserve to stay. Deal with it. If I were a professional I wouldn't be here.
Note to Authors - Two important rules to remember. One - If you start a story, you damn sure better finish it. You owe it to all the people who took the time to read or review it. I'm slow on the updates sometimes, but I'll never abandon a story. Promise. Two -Story ideas are like finding money on the ground. If you don't stop to pick it up, it'll be gone by the time you get back.
Favorite Quote - This is an old one, but a good one. It means more to me now that I have some mileage on me, but I wish I’d taken it to heart years ago.
“Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
John Hughes – Ferris Beuler
Additional Note. For readers of To Where I Once Belong, it will be finished one day. I hit a major mental wall with It, and for now all my time in energy is focused solely on the Last Speedster. I'm sorry, I truly am, but while wracking my brain for a proper conclusion, Speedster came along and changed from a prompt to a full blown story that I had a start, middle and ending to before I realized it. Any readers of TWIOB, I will finish it. You have my word.,
