From when I was a teenager I have had stories circulating through my head, certain scenes that arose from situations/tv shows/movies on repeat over and over again. So one day I decided to write it down - and lo & behold the repeat button was released and I could move the story along. But this has remained a private obsession - one I thought was my quirk only - so it was a big leap for me to actually register myself here. I am so glad that I did though.

I am WELL past being a teenager now (although not from my angle, only yours) and so life sort of gets in the way of story writing, in that job, children, husband, and housework all tend to get ignored when I am writing. Despite the support received here I have my own little insecurities and so tend to write only at night so no-one can see what I write - although the husband does actually know I'm writing now. I tend to overwork my stories - I will write several chapters ahead of my post and re-read constantly (though I am not always that organised), I always have a final re-read before I post. It is surprising the things that slip through (burry eyes anyone?) even with this, but hopefully I do at least cover eveything plot wise.

I appreciate that it is hard sometime to think of that pithy, witty comment about something that you have just read - and I will admit to not always reviewing because of where I am reading the story (on phone in bed or on work computer because the brain needs a rest). Whenever I have read and enjoyed a story I will try to leave something positive. If I find something I think needs correcting I will send a PM. From my own experience - it is such a buzz to get some feedback - even a 'Yay I liked this' gives me something (if only an excuse to go peek at your profile and start a conversation) but I really like knowing any particular lines that made you laugh or cry and if you have any theories about the characters I try to portray. So please let me know what you think (because if you don't and no-one else does...) - but really, if you have nothing nice to say then let's just leave it at that shall we? Hate/flamers on this site are surplus to requirements.

So as of Sept 2013 I have finished my second fic and am in the process of writing another fic for The Walking Dead again and plan to continue another one during Season 4. I do have other works in my head, electronically and even on paper for Stargate Atlantis, The Unit and Lord of the Rings but these are all in the nature of epics so I don't know whether I will ever throw myself off that abyss again.

THANKYOU to everyone who reviewed Polar - whether it was one review or 80, by your hand Polar has now cracked the 1000th review. The Tourist has cracked 100 - which in the smaller fandom is still an achievement. I am so enamoured with you all, xoxo
