In Brockton Bay a forgotten side character's trigger event ends with him linked to the Celestial Forge rather than his intended shard. His expanding collection of tinker abilities drag him into the city's cape conflicts.

With all the biohazards in the locker, blood poisoning was inevitable. Contamination was also to be expected. What happens when a dormant brew gets added to a parahuman at the exact moment of a trigger event?

When Jaune woke up back in his house with his sisters and family, all he could do was sigh. Every time he died he was forced to start over again, and this was what... the one thousandth time? More? If it doesn't matter how hard he tries, doesn't matter how much he fights. Then maybe it's time to just kick back and enjoy himself. Fate can find someone else to be its whipping boy.

Wizard lack common sense. Hermione had declared that in their first year at Hogwarts. Well, even after the war, with Voldemort dead, wizards refused to change the things that were important to prevent events that led to the war in the first place to repeat themselves. Someone once told me that back during the Golden Age they handwaved Clark Kent's lack of Military service during WWII by having him being declared 4-F after he accidentally read the eye chart in the wrong room. Harry overhears a conversation between two of his teachers early into the first year at Hogwarts. What he hears makes him ponder about how he's going about his school work. He decides to take action and make his parents proud of his performance. Just how will that little change influence the events taking place at the school?

Hermione's explanation of the inscriptions on the tombstones in Godric's Hollow leads Harry to want something similar for Dobby's tombstone. Which leads to a revelation that changes the course of the story.

Response to a challenge issued by Reptilia28. I've read a few responses to this challenge as well as other stories that have Harry or another character going back in time to fix things. However, I sometimes get impatient as I'm reading them. So, I decided to write a version of this cliché where very little time was wasted. Harry has a life to live, and he's got no time to waste.

What if there was a good reason for why Molly had steered her brood over to Harry at the King's Cross station and started treating Harry as if he were her own child without consulting him first?
