![]() Author has written 2 stories for Game of Thrones. I have created imaginary stories in my head for as long as I can remember. I am a visual person with a very vivid imagination, and it can be very hard for me to translate my stories into words. I absolutely love actors who can do so much in a scene with little to no dialogue - Gong Li and Vincent D'Onofrio being two of my favorite examples. :) Asian films in general accomplish the limited dialogue thing so well and are a big fav, but I love foreign films in general. About Rowena: I thought later that perhaps I should've made Rowena a little tougher - a little more like Shay, carrying a dagger and all. But she just didn't need to be that way in the life she lived before Bronn, so I left her as she was. I get that there could be criticism that this is too much of a damsel in distress story - but I think she is tough in her own way, based on the time and place she lives in, and how she was raised and somewhat over-protected. It is her transformation that I think is more important. And to be honest, these are mainly just my own personal fantasies. Both the writing and the fantasizing are an escape and a release, so yes, it's a bit about letting someone taking control. Which, for a control freak type, is not always easy. Thanks for reading and please send me your feedback and/or suggestions in a review or PM! I love hearing from people who connect with the story or the characters! I do have ideas for new chapters, I just have to somehow coax them out of my head and onto a 'page'! |
