Author has written 2 stories for Austin & Ally.
Hey everyone! So after many years of reading fanfictions, reviewing anonymously, and not having the courage to actually post anything myself, I finally decided to go ahead and create an account.
A little about me: I'm in college, studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. I love to read, and writing is my passion. I know it's a long shot, but I hope to be a published author someday. Usually, I write original works, not fanfiction. However, every once in awhile I get ideas for TV shows or books I've read, and I can't get them out of my head. It's hard to concentrate on finding inspiration for one of my own stories when I have a fanfiction idea swimming in my mind, so I have to write it just to satisfy that idea. Anyway, I figure if anything actually joining this community and publishing a few fanfics could get me some feedback on my writing. So if you do read my work, please be honest with what you think. That's all I ask. :)
I still love Nickelodeon and Disney shows. I know, they may be considered "kid" shows, but they're funny. When I watch TV, I don't want to watch some stupid Teen Mom on MTV whine and complain about how their life sucks; I honestly couldn't care less. I want to laugh, and Nick and Disney shows are funny! I especially love Austin & Ally, Victorious, Big Time Rush, iCarly, and Jessie. However, these shows will never surpass the shows from my childhood, especially the best show ever made, Boy Meets World. I own the whole series on DVD, and I'm not ashamed. Oh, and my guilty pleasure is Pretty Little Liars. I swear, I did not want to get involved in it, but I watched one episode with some friends and was immediately hooked. It's not something I'm proud of.
I don't even know where to begin with books. Sarah Dessen will always be my favorite author. She is the one who inspired me to write with her book Just Listen. After reading it, I went and read all her other books as well. They are all incredible. I also love the Gallagher Girls series by Ally Carter, Harry Potter, the Twilight series, The Hunger Games trilogy (read all three in one week), the Perfect Chemistry series by Simone Elkeles, and so much more! There's really too many to list. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know!
