Hello my fellow Mystics! I'm a creative sort who gets lost in myself and my ideas. I have my issues (major depression, anxiety, agoraphobia, ptsd, Borderline personality disorder ("I don't have one emotion, I have all emotions!)) etc etc but an striving to cope. Keep on Swimming and all that.
thanks for reading! Happy creations!
recent name change from Reticent Rouge to Rauðr Mystic is a representation of my need for more magic in my life. its an effort to give myself permission to create again. note: ð is pronounced th. I didn't use ð in the username for convenience of searching. most English speakers (the only language I know lol) don't have that letter on their keyboard!
note* anyone know how to get rid of the fact that between the "edit profile" (which looks normal) to acctually viewing profile which has everything underlined? please? it drives me batty!

I'm a scholar type lion who is fiercely true to myself and my values. My trust and allegiance is hard won but true.
Wand: 14 1/2 inches, Phoenix Core, ebony wood, slightly springy
Phoenix Feather : this is the rarest core type. Phoenix feathers are capable of the greatest range of magic, though they may take longer than either unicorn hair or dragon cores to reveal this. They show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike. Phoenix feather wands are always the pickiest when it comes to potential owners, for the creature from which they are taken is one of the most independent and detached in the world. These wands are the hardest to tame and to personalize, and their allegiance is usually hard won.
Ebony: This jet-black wand wood has an impressive appearance and reputation, being highly suited to all manner of combative magic and to transfiguration. Ebony is happiest in the hand of those with the courage to be themselves. Frequently non-conformist, highly individual or comfortable with the status of outsider, ebony wand owners are found among the ranks of the Order of the Phoenix and Death Eaters. In my experience the ebony wand's perfect match is one who will hold fast to his or her beliefs, no matter what external pressure, and will not be swayed lightly from their purpose.
I'm not sure about the length and springiness meanings sadly. Numerology? the #14tarot is temperance in the standard deck, but would I go to 15? *grins* regardless I have an awesome wand b*tches! I think it fits me extremely well.
