Author has written 3 stories for Kingdom Hearts.
I hate writer's block...
A fun-loving person that has 3 enjoyments in life. Writing, gaming and reading comics. Welcome to my profile.
GENDER: Genderfluid. I don't identify as either male or female, just somewhere in the middle. Some days I can feel more like a guy, some days I can feel more like a girl. In simple terms? Too girly to be a boy, to boyish to be a girl. Prefer being referred to as she, but not fussed over being called he as well.
CURRENT STATUS: Fog. Lots of fog.
BIO: A snarky geeky guy/punky tomboy that spends much of her time either writing or gaming. Or eating. I'm British, you should have figured that out by the flag at the top of this page, so therefore I am a terrible cook, know black magic and give scathing reviews of movies.
MY BELIEFS: I am an agnostic-atheist, leaning towards atheist. And religion is something that is a big part of my current project in The Dancing Shadows Series or rather the idea of fundamentalist fanaticism. Do not get me wrong, I have no problem with those who have faith, if it makes you happy that's fine with me. But I personally find religion, especially the Abrahamic religions, to be incredibly hypocritical in parts, particular the part about 'love they neighbour'. That and I'm reminded everyday that my gender expression and sexuality is an abomination to the Almighty. I'm happy to discuss faith with you, I have no interest in forcing my views on to you and I'm alright with it as long as I'm not preached at. The only times I have an issue is when you build your faith on claims of moral authority and with threats of Hell impose it on others in society because of petty differences. Short version: Don't try and convert me or use your beliefs to judge me. You respect me and I respect you. That's it.

Gender Fluid is a gender identity best described as a dynamic mix of boy and girl. A person who is Gender Fluid may always feel like a mix of the two traditional genders, but may feel more boy some days, and more girl other days.
Being Gender Fluid has nothing to do with which set of genitalia one has, nor their sexual orientation.
So, up top I mentioned I was genderfluid. It's a term that not many people have heard of, usually only known by people that work in the LGBTQ community. Hell, I only found out about it a year ago. It is best described as when your internal gender is a dynamic mix of both boy and girl yet overall neither. It...I wouldn't say ' 'changes' but you can feel, as before, you can feel more like one or the other at random, there's no set pattern since people that are genderfluid are, well, people and each person is different yadda yadda yadda.
The way I see it is that gender and sex are different. Your sex is what you are assigned at birth when a doctor looks between your legs. Your gender is what you feel INSIDE, the way you see yourself how you should be. For the majority of people their gender and sex match up. For others it doesn't. The most extreme case, and ironically the most well known, is transgender where you're effectively born in the wrong body.
For me it's like my gender is on a spectrum with 'male' at one end and 'female' at the other. My gender slides along the spectrum at random, usually not hitting one particular end but leans towards one or the other. So like...I can be a guy for a few days, wake up the next day and be a girl. Complete with all the stuff associated with gender dysphoria. It's stressful at times. Some days I feel suicidal because of it. Not that I'd change it though.
If you want to find out more about it the best place is forums, the Genderfluid Life Facebook page OR the Youtuber Seadresa. It's a shame she doesn't have more videos but they are helpful if you want an overview. That sentence was more addressed at people who think they're genderfluid but are not sure.
Genderfluidity does NOT change you as a person. Regardless of what bigots and those silly little books say you. Are. You. You still have the same like/dislikes, sexuality, personality. You just sometimes act a little more differently. I act more carefree as a girl but I'm still a bit of an arsehole. Don't worry, I'm a nice arsehole.
Most importantly, we exist. We are not a shameful secret that should be hidden. We can express ourselves when we want, however we want, whenever we need to, and most importantly, we deserve to be treated like every other human being on this planet; with respect and dignity
KHIV: Blinding Light
KHIII: Shadows of the Heart
KH: Broken and Beyond
Dancing Shadows series
The Kingdom Hearts series that chronicles the adventures of Shade, Riku, Sora, Kairi, Lea, Aqua and Ven. Starts with the end of the Xehanort Saga ( aka the Dark Seeker Saga as it's officially known as) and includes the Broken and Beyond, Enlightment Trilogy, various short storiesand Infinity Hearts. This series is darker than the games, with swearing, blood, split personalities/psychosis, brief moments of torture (but not in any great detail) and slight to moderate dark themes, particularly when heading towards the finale of KHIV.
KHIII: Shadows of the Heart: My first fanfic and, though crap, is important to me The story that spans from three months after KH3D to the final battle against Master Xehanort. After the events in the Sleeping Worlds Riku is tasked with training an apprentice to combat Xehanort's Thirteen Seekers of Darkness, while Sora, Kairi and Lea are tasked with finding the Seven Keyholes of Requiem. But whilst they're doing that, other factions are stirring in the shadows. My first fic. I put a lot of work into this and if you have time, stop and read it. (Complete)
KH: Broken and Beyond: After the events of KHIII Aqua has fallen into a coma. Taken to the mysterious Realm Beyond she must fight her own darkness to escape. But it's never as simple as that in this realm of eccentrics. Mini-sequel, chronicling Aqua's time in the Realm Beyond, post-KHIII.
KHIV: Shattered Memories: The defeat of Master Xehanort has taken its toll. The students of Eraqus try to rebuild their lost lives, the Destiny Islands crew settle in to a quiet life and Lea contemplates how he lost everything. But a new threat lurks in the shadows. A man with a fearsome intellect and terrifying passion for his beliefs has started to turn the cogs of an ancient civilization in hopes of reunifying the World. Could the Lux Vera group be more terrifying than Xehanort ever was? (In progress)
KHV: Come Undone: After the events of Axiom, the Keybearers are in a race against time to stop Lux Vera's plan to unify the worlds, battling sea gods, rogue AI, Daleks and HYDRA along the way. Meanwhile Shade must battle with her inner demons as she fights off the temptation of the Heartless Court.(TBA)
KHVI: From the Ashes: [CLASSIFIED] (TBA)
Destiny: The Novel
A complete novelization of the entire series as it comes. Hopefully more in depth and more character driven than the game and its expansions. I will be taking my time with this for multiple reasons. The first chapter is already written and clocked in at 4,800 words, which makes it the longest chapter I've every written, however I want to plot up until the Vault of Glass and get a good chunk of it written before uploading and, because I want this to be more character driven than the game, I want it to be as good as possible. I have a vague idea of where the main character's arc will go up until the end of The Taken War, but as I've said I want to take my time and, unlike the Dancing Shadows which I can pull off as an AU, I want to be as true to the game as possible which means I am going to be thorough.
I don't know when this will be uploaded, nor the update schedule, but I hope this is going to be as best as I believe it will be.
Dancing Shadows Info
Part of the Dancing Shadows Series looks at Heartless society. This came up due to Xehanort's Heartless and that throw away line Leon made about Heartless commanders in Traverse Town. So, this is the hierarchy of Heartless society. It works in a similar system to Hollows from Bleach where if a Heartless becomes strong or intelligent enough it regains aspects of its humanity and, at its peak, regains human form.
Contains slight spoilers.
Half-Heart:- Lower than low. A Half-Heart is someone that has gained the full powers of a Heartless but hasn't fully turned. To date, Shade is the only one of these in existence, though you COULD count Riku as one when he was possessed by Xehanort's Heartless.
Heartless Minor:- Common Heartless. Shadows, Soldiers etc all fall under this.
Heartless Major:- Uncommon Heartless. Made up of the strongest Heartless found in each world e.g Invisibles, Assault Riders, Hot Rods etc.
Horde Commander:- Boss level Heartless, these are made up of the majority of Heartless bosses in the Kingdom Hearts games and the Dancing Shadows . So, things like Opposite Armour, Phantom, Groundshaker etc
Heartless Baron:- When a Heartless regains human form it becomes this level. They have the intelligence of humans but still have Heartless savageness.
Heartless Grandmaster:- Xehanort's Heartless is this level.
Heartless Lord:- The strongest most Heartless become. Heartless Lords are in control of their urges, are immensely powerful and can think and plan like humans. If you become a Heartless Lord you gain control of a House, which is akin to a section of the Realm of Darkness and its Heartless.
Heartless King:- The theoretical ceiling. No one knows where Abaddon, the Heartless King, came from and no ones knows how old he is. There is only one. He made sure of it.
The following are the nine main Houses in the Dancing Shadows. They do contain slight spoilers overall, mostly for KHV and KHVI, but isn't important to the overall plot.
The House of Kings:- The House of Abaddon. It has only eight members, all of them the strongest Heartless in the Realm of Darkness. They all answer the King directly.
The House of Light:- The House of Lucifer. Though small in number, they serve their Lord with fanatical devotion. They exist to think like the Keybearers and then think up solutions to their plans.
The House of Devils:- The House of Ur-Satan and Iso-Satan. They are large in number and heavy hitters, preferring to attack with brute force and numbers than with tactics.
The House of Winter:- The House of Leviathan. They are mainly ice-based Heartless and consist of Barons and Grandmasters. The House of Winter prides itself on its intelligence, but most follow out fear.
The House of Lies:- The House of Asmodeus. The House of Lies are not openly violent. Asmodeus prefers to use her Heartless for the entertainment of others and her own. They prefer discrete methods of killing.
The House of Plenty:- The House of Mammon. The House is the most specialized House and is filled with unique Heartless. The House of Plenty is largely independent of their Lord. When Mammon hits the field it's bad news.
The House of Famine:- The House of Beelzebub. Beelzebub's treatment of his House is considered barbaric by Heartless standards. He starves them. This makes the House of Famine the most feral and aggressive.
The House of Secrets:- The House of Belphegor. They always do the icky jobs.
The House of Exile:- The House Mio "Shade" Furude. Swollen with Heartless Minor, it is made up of exiles from the Realm of Darkness. They follow Shade out of admiration, belonging or to spite their former masters.
Mio 'Shade' Furude
Age: 15 (KHIII) 17 (KHIV)
Weapon: Midnight Fury
Hypothetical Voice Actress: Cherami Leigh (voiced Gaige the Mechromancer, Lucy Heartfilia, Eucliwood Hellscythe and Asuna Yuuki to name a few)
Bio: A half-human, half-Heartless hybrid inadvertedly caused by experiments by Master Xehanort's Organization XIII. Zany, odd, and incredibly blunt she tries to fit in as best she can, but her jokes and bizarre carefree nature hide a more cynical, serious, brutally honest side. Her uniqueness allows her to use Darkness based attacks to a greater extent than Riku and allows her to use forms of corrupt light magic instead of pure Light magic. Like the other Keybearers she strives to protect her friends no matter what, but is willing to abandon strangers if they can't be saved. Shade has a very skewed moral compass.
