Information about my Fanfiction/fandoms:
How did I get my fanfiction name? A couple years ago, when I started this account, a couple of my friends kind of mashed my first and last names together and called me "kaykayrossy", and I just started using it as my username for everything.
What fandoms are you in? The Hunger Games fandom, the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic fandom (yes, I'm a brony, those annoying people that like that little kid's show with multi-colored talking magical ponies. I frequently get weird stares when I walk around with pony merch), the Divergent fandom, and the Harry Potter fandom. Oh, and I'm in love with John Green books, too.
How did you get into the Hunger Games fandom, since it's what you write on here? A little while ago, I heard people talking about this book called The Hunger Games and that it was about kids that fought to the death in an arena, and that it was going to be a movie soon. I didn't care about it much; the only thought that I came up with was a picture of two kids in a gladiator arena (funny that Suzanne Collins based part of the series off of that). I saw a classmate reading it, but I didn't really care about that either (back then, I never really cared about the books people read). Then I saw like five people reading Mockingjay later that year, and I started to wonder what the hell was going on with that book (little did I know that Mockingjay was actually the third book of the trilogy). So I finally decided to get the book from the library and I started reading it. I was startled at the present tense narration, because before then I had never read a book that wasn't narrated in the past tense. But I continued reading. Soon, I was reading the book wherever I went and before I knew it I had read Catching Fire and I had done a book report on the first book. Later that year, I went to Israel to visit some friends that lived there and by then, the movie was going to come out while I was there. I had started to read Mockingjay (and I finally figured out that it was the third book in a trilogy) and I had become a fan and I liked to wear my hair in the movie's Katniss braid. I was excited for the movie to come out. One night my family and I was having dinner at our friends' house, and I was upstairs. My mom had a magazine about the movie, and they were talking about it. I heard them, and I just ran downstairs and started talking really fast about how I shipped Katniss and Gale (even though it's the COMPLETE opposite now; Everlark forever). I suddenly realized: "Holy crap, I'm addicted to this weird sorcery called The Hunger Games." My life has never been the same since.
