![]() Author has written 11 stories for Song of the Lioness, Harry Potter, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. I was obsessed (probably actually unhealthily so) with Harry Potter fanfiction as a young person during that tortuously long break between the fifth and sixth books, and I am probably almost as obsessed now. MORPHED SECRETS-Severitus fic where Harry's parentage was concealed by his subconsciously manifesting metamorphmagus abilities. This story is finally complete! Thank you so much for all of the support! ARE YOU MY FATHER- This story starts in the last week of Harry's fifth year after Sirius's death. The story is somewhat complete, but I might get the urge to write more of it at some point. I love the motivational reviews that I still get for this story. NEXT?: I'm working on Contractual Obligations now. Next, maybe, maybe a Harry/Fleur story that I started trying to write years ago will see the light of day. Or perhaps a post-war Harry/Tonks story. I am also debating a Harry-Obscurial story, but I might wait for more Fantastic Beast information, though that could take a long time. Other- Tamora Pierce- if you haven't read her books, you should, particularly if you like interesting, strong, female leading characters. I have two fanfictions are based in her world of Tortall. There just isn't the large community of readers and comments that there is with Harry Potter, which is sad, but I do feel less motivated to work on those stories. I also put up a Buffy one-shot, and wish I could find the motivation to expand the story. Fanfiction I read- except I don't much anymore because of time constraints: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Avatar the Last Airbender, and occasionally some others, and of course Harry Potter. If I were to ask all fanfiction writers to do one thing, it would be to PUT CHAPTER TITLES. The perfect title makes sense to people who have read it, but doesn't give it away to someone who hasn't read it yet. But, please put something as a chapter title, even if you can't think of a perfect one. I like to reread books and just skip to my favorite passages, and I like to do the same thing with fanfiction stories. I will often not reread something because there are no chapter headings and I get unmotivated. Also, if you just read as a guest, consider making an account, even if you don't want to write something yourself (yet). I respond to every review that I am able to- so not guests or people with messaging blocked. Sometimes a guest review will be really, really awesome and I want to respond, but can't. Anyway, hope you enjoy! |
