I've been a member here for a very long time :)
Anyway, it's been, and still is, a great fun to be here. I'd like to think, and hope, that I've improved my writing since I first started posting things.
I've always liked to write things and use my imagination and here I can share what I write and hopefully get feedback because of it. I don't think it can get any better.
I write whenever I have the time and the inspiration to do so (sometimes those two are very hard to combine). I'm not focusing on one fandom as I love to write about a lot of TV-series. I did a cartoon once because I wanted to try it but my work will mostly be found in the TV-serie section.
Usually I work with one show at a time because I really want to get into it - get the feel of the characters - get it right. When I'm done with a show I usually head on because I've lost the touch that I need to write a good story about those particular characters. However, I might come back one day to the same TV-serie.
//Life is pretty hectic at the moment so I might not be able to write much at the time...but I will write ;)
Work in progress;
Heartbeat - No Time Like the Present
Summary: A man from Liverpool ends up dead in the area sparking up a series of events that might turn just as deadly for the police officers in Ashfordly. The stranger isn’t as unfamiliar as it first appears and soon Dennis Merton have his hands full to try and sort out everything before it is too late.
Writing (every now and then)
Starsky and Hutch - The Octopus
Summary: Seven months after the almost fatal shooting in the parking area at the BCPD DS Dave Starsky is almost back to his normal self. Despite the doctors predictions about not being able to get back on the streets he’s slowly getting there. However, when the big day comes, other problems arises and suddenly both Starsky and Hutch find themselves in a situation where nothing else matters than to stay alive.
Drafts that I'm toying with: (I might never finish them though)
Stargate Atlantis - When Time is Up
This is a story that I posted as a one shot, a long time ago, but as I reread it I wondered - what happened before and after that particular moment? So I challenged myself to try and make a full story out of it ;)
*I am, (believe it or not), almost finished with a draft by now!
Crusade - Ship of Sleep
Summary: While searching for a cure to the Drakh plague, far outside normal territory, the Excalibur and her crew stumbles upon a large ship. The ship is old, maybe older than the Vorlons. No one alive at this day has ever seen it but there are tales about it; tales about death. Will the ship hold the key to survival or will it bring only more deaths? As Captain Gideon will discover – nothing is what it seems.
Heartbeat - After All These Years
Summary: One day Nick Rowan and his family returns to Aidensfield to see the village once again. Much have changed since they moved away eleven years ago and nothing will ever be the same again. The old crook Claude Greengrass have left, the police house is no longer, all but decimated from a bomb blast a couple of years earlier. One of his best friends, Phil Bellamy, is dead. He finds his old sergeant behind the counter of Aidensfield Arms and hears that Maggie left the village in tears after Neil tragically past away. He gets to know that Mike did found love, lost it and decided that he needed a change in scenery, something he has no trouble understanding. In the middle of both joy and sorrow between old friends Nick is involuntarily drawn into a case back at his old station in Ashfordly. A case that seem oddly connected to something that happened a long time ago.
CSI NY - The Target
When it comes to CSI NY I like to focus on Mac. This time I've expanded it so that the story deals with every main character (more or less). Basically the team members are being targeted, individually by a person with a serious grudge against them. The trouble for the team is to figure it out and find who it is before it's too late. It's a story about friendship, hurt/comfort, angst and romance.
Crusade - Journey to the Forbidden
I accidentally found the show when watching a sci-fi channel and it managed to get my interest. I was disappointed to know that it had been so short-lived. The continuation just begged to be written. The main character here is Captain Gideon and it deals mostly with his problems. I started with this only to put it aside and start another one.
//If you like something that I've posted, please review and tell me. It doesn't matter when you review; it can be years after the story is posted, a review still makes me happy ;) Feel free to tell me whatever you like, just be decent and honest in your comments, no flames. It might be silly but I regard a story that I've written as a failure if I don't get at least one review/chapter.
I'll specify some of my favorite TV-series below (alphabetical order), together with the favorite character(s);
Babylon 5 - Captain John Sheridan, Crusade - Captain Matthew Gideon, Dallas - Bobby Ewing, Eureka - Dr. Nathan Stark, Heartbeat - PC Nick Rowan, Sgt. Dennis Merton, PC Joe Mason, Holby City - Owen Davis, Joseph Byrne, Henrik Hanssen, Stargate Atlantis - Colonel John Sheppard, Stargate SG-1 - Jonas Quinn, Starsky and Hutch - Starsky, Star Trek - Captain Kirk, Star Trek Deep Space Nine - Weyoun, Star Trek Enterprise - Commander Shran, Lieutenant Malcolm Reed, Star Trek Voyager - Commander Chakotay, The A-Team - Colonel John 'Hannibal' Smith, The Flying Doctors - Capt. Sam Patterson, Capt. Johnno Johnson, The High Chaparral - Manolito Montoya
I don't like slash fic's but otherwise any good story would do ;) Although, I must say, I have a weakness for hurt/comfort, adventure and mystery. I like stories where people care for one another and take care of each other.
There, now you know a little bit about me ;)
