Author has written 31 stories for Angel, Final Fantasy VII, Labyrinth, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, Smallville, Buffy X-overs, Doctor Who, Veronica Mars, House, M.D., and Supernatural.
Oh my stars!
I haven't looked at my profile in four years! Am now 31 and my current flavour of the fanfic world is Chloe and Oliver from Smallville. I love their banter and the chemistry between them is excellent. Plus, the actors Allison Mack and Justin Hartley are a joy to watch. My latest story is an AU Chloe and Oliver that involves sperm donation and a very sick little girl. Unlike 90% of my fanfics on here, this one WILL be finished!
Despite the plot of Dragonfly being quite a hard hitting one, I've never truly enjoyed writing a story so much. I think because it's a challenge that's required more than simple researching of characters or episodes etc etc. There's a lot of information to be had and it often takes two or three readings of it for it all to sink in.
The stories I hope to update are as follows...
Food for Thought ~ A Labyrinth fic that I actually forgot I'd written.
Wild Night ~ A Final Fantasy VII story that, because of some fantastic writing advice, will be re-written and hopefully made better.
Love is a Battlefield ~ A House story that needs to be done because who doesn't love a prank war when it involves Greg House?!
39, 23, 59 ~ An Angel story. I'm well and truly stumped on this as I've seem to have written myself into a corner, but never mind. I'm sure I'll work it out!
So, I'm gonna be one very busy Jude in the up and coming months, something which I'm eternally grateful for because it means I'm not suffering writer's block!
Keep smiling, folks :-D
P.S. I'm going to be moving all of my fanfiction to my Live Journal and another archive. An archive without the threat of people who flame 'just because they can.' The Literate Union have a great idea, but how they're using it, for their own amusement, is absolutely disgusting. They have a robotic program to search through the whole of this site and looking to see which author they should pick on today and by pick on, I mean terrorise. They post direct links to stories in their forum and get all the other members to go flame and harrass. If the program was being used by the site's actual admin, I would have no problem with it at all, but it's being used by ordinary members who think they're the be all and end all of literature.
This site is where a lot of folk start off in fandom and to see such atrocities being committed by folk who think themselves superior to the rest of us is awful. What's more amusing is how they justify what they do by saying certain stories are against the rules, when using a robotic program is also against the rules. You look up the word hypocrite in the dictionary and there you will find RedBootton and its creator.
What these people need to remember is this site is funded by advertising and the more they continue, the more authors will leave and this place will effectively cease to run. It may take a good, long while, but they're pushing it in the right direction. Or maybe that's what they want...
It's also come to my attention that there is a possible RedBootton program for searching Live Journal so they can do the same thing there. Best of luck with that one, you lot.
