UPDATE: October 22, 2015
How crazy is it that a silly idea my friend and I were discussing for fun one day grew up to become a multi-chaptered fic that people all around the globe could read? I uploaded stories here for fun one day on a boring weekend evening, not really knowing what I was doing and what I had in plan for it. The fact that people even found (and still find) my stories remotely interesting is such an incredible notion, and to think there are some of you out there that consider some of my fics to be counted within their favorites is just utterly mind-blowing. I would've abandoned this site years ago if it hadn't been for you guys, so you have my eternal gratitude for stopping me from giving up writing altogether.
Of course, it's not like my stuff is THAT popular, but to me, even just 1 person reviewing/fave-ing/following is just one big "!!!!!!!!" for me, and when I look back on the view count on some of my fics it's like "holy cow..." so it really is a big deal for a boring ol' university student like me.
I know my updating schedules are absolutely unacceptable with the way I disappear for months at a time, but the only thing I tentatively request from you guys is that you understand it's hard for me to chase after my hobbies as freely as I was able to like before. With preparations for my life career at work, there is very little time for me to actually do the things I love. It's a painful thing, but it is true. Perhaps one day I'll be able to do those things whenever I wanted to again, but as of current days, it's not quite as simple.
Thanks once again everyone! The chapters are coming!
UPDATE: April 05, 2014
I'm still alive, folks! It's extremely busy this year, but my stories are still getting written, believe it or not (even though some are being made at a snail's pace x.x). This idea has been suggested by a wonderful ff.net user SkyWolf25 and it's being used by some other authors out there as well. Here are some rough estimates as to how close the next chapter of each story is to being updated (0% - not started, and 100% - finished, revised, edited, and ready for updating), so people will have some idea as to how much longer they have to contemplate the idea of tracking me down and strangling my in my sleep.
Reasons For Survival Chapter 6: 0%
Phobia Chapter 14: 20%
Deceptive Truth Chapter 2: 0%
The Price of Living Chapter 9: 45%
Useless Feels Chapter 6: 15%
I have created a Tumblr blog for this account, so that people without ff.net accounts may ask questions or shoot me messages in general if they wish to. The URL is simply "prussianknight9". See you there!
UPDATE: March 19, 2013
I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of my wonderful readers who have been reading my stories with love; you are all phenomenal. I could not ask for better people. Your compliments make my life which makes me even more guilty that I cannot update as fast as I would like to. Back when I first created this account, I thought I'd be able to upload a chapter at least once a week, and was certainly inclined to do so. However, things do happen in life and I was unable to foresee my life taking such a huge turn work and school-wise and there is nothing more shameful than breaking my own promise. No amount of apologizing can fix this. I am extremely sorry.
I realize there are certain stories (mainly The Price of Living) that have been delayed for extensive periods of time, due to work but also, lack of ideas as well. You see, I always plan things out but as I write things, some parts get changed, which no longer makes the rest of the plan valid. I ended up changing the entire story from my original plot which meant I had to throw away the ending I had in mind, which then led to a writer's block which I was just too stuck to get over. I focused on other things, trying to avoid the inevitable, and here we are. As an irresponsible writer, I apologize once again.
Yet despite all this there are some of you who have not given up and continued to support me. There are no words to descibe how thankful I am. Whether you come back one day because you had nothing else to do or you remembered reading a good fanfic written by some person named PrussianKnight9, you are all my heroes. :)
Now, enough of my blabbering, I need to get writing again before I get a good earful from my readers! xD
Hello to all you wonderful readers!
I've just realized that I barely have anything on my profile, and some of you might be wondering a few things about this mysterious, anonymous identity that just one day randomly starting spewing a few Naruto fanfics out of nowhere. So I'd like to clear a few things up for you. *This is written on October 1, 2012.*
Right now, I'm a female high school student stuck in the midst of a great whirlwind of homework and volunteering chaos, amongst other things that happen in life. I actually began writing fanfics quite a while ago, but only recently have I actually managed to remove my lazy bum off the couch to publish it on an online fanfiction site. Unsurprisingly, one thing I was worried about was my damned procrastination, whether it be on purpose or not.
Annndd guess what, it already happened.
Believe it or not I actually AM working on new chapters for all fanfics I have currently uploaded so far, even if it means ending up spending only 5-10 min a day, or even a week, depending on my schedule. I am so so grateful to all those who don't give up and continue to read my delayed chapters up till now. _
One other thing that has come up a couple of times was whether I do pairing fics or not. While I do not have any sort of problem with pairing fics (be it heterosexual or homosexual) my preferred type of stories, well, are more of a Friendship, Adventure, Angst/Hurt&Comfort genre, not Romance. xD So I tend to steer away from those styles, but that does not mean I will never ever write them or anything, so feel free to send me any requests of any (preferrably nothing TOO big that would change the entire story) topic of any sort, and I will read and consider each and every one of them, even if I don't end up using them in the end. Who knows, maybe they'll appear in the future in another fanfic.
One other thing: When I decide to use the suggested ideas/topics you send me, I will always credit the person who gave me the idea in the Author's Notes. So all you Guest reviewers out there might want to leave a name so it's easier for me to know who it is! :)
Anyways, all thoughts aside, thanks once again and happy reading! :)
