Author has written 5 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars, and Hobbit.
If you know me in real life, please move on and never mention this to me. It's all explainable, I swear.
Ok, I have no idea how this profile thingy works. So here goes. I'm an Irish girl born and bred, quads are the best vehicles ever, I seem to be incapable of finishing much. I apparently love Transformers. This only started last year. I mean, I watched Armada when I was little. Optimus' death made me cry. But this year, I've watched Animated, Prime, Armada (again), and G1. Getting there, people. (Also, MTMTE TPBs when they come out.)
I'm dabbling in other fandoms - Mainly the Hobbit - these days, which is undoubtedly a bad idea.
So. Writing-wise, I have a tendency towards comma overuse and using a lot of words to say very little. I'm writing Defiance mostly, oneshots when I can't resist. At some point there will be a fic made of oneshots about the Nemesians. The problem is that I tend to write, y'know, with a pen. (A blue pen, hence the name.) And then I have to type it up, which is usually a rewrite as I change things as I go. So it might take a while. Bear in mind that I'm Irish, so I tend to work in metres, colours, favourites, etc. And I might use weird phrases occasionally. (Any craic about youse?)
Also. I don't do pairings, or basically romance of any kind. In general I don't read it either.
If I favourite a story, it means I like it. I will never fav anything with bad grammar and spelling, because I'm fussy like that. If I favourite an author it means that I like basically all of their stories and don't want to spam my fav box with them.
I hate having to scroll past copy and paste this to your profile things, so I'm just going to do random stuff. If it goes past one screen at a time I have failed.
I'm sick of all these let's-complain-about-a-character-or-pairing-fics and things floating about. This site is fanFICTION, not fanopinion. I disagree with basically all pairings, but I'm not going to pretend my ideas about something have a plot, and I'm not going to shove them down your throat and make blanket statements about all those who disagree with me.
Most of my writing is inspired by music. Mostly the tones, but sometimes the scenes as well. If you have never listened to production music (otherwise known as 'post-classical' or 'epic in audible form'), go listen to 'Heart of Courage' by Two Steps right now. I beg you. Or 'Invincible', same guys. Or 'Archangel'. Or 'Maya' by Audiomachine, which is ridiculously uplifting.
Anyone else ever had that moment after you receive a positive review or favourite, when you flail and you're all: 'AAAHHH PEOPLE KNOW I EXIST!' Happens every time. Thanks people.
I am a self-confessed grammar dragon. Fear my correctly punctuated roar.
Is fuath liom Gaeilge, mar is teanga uafasach agus rodheacair e. Agus nil aon rogha againn. (Can't find the fhadas, and this was always my worst subject. Oops.)
