![]() Author has written 17 stories for Twilight. To all of the writers who upload words that come from your wonderful imaginations, a big thank you. You are inspiring. After being a reader for years, I finally wrote a story in 2012 that was angsty and raw, uploaded naively without a beta, but it led me to a beta friendship with Edwards Beachlover via reviews. Today, I've had to give up on finding Wendy Beach or her husband here or on FB or phone, so if you know where she is or what happened to her, please help me solve the mystery. I've found wonderful support in people like Vampyregirl86, LayAtHomeMom, Hadley Hemingway, and FicWhisperer (Kennedy Nicole Maddock) who picked Baby Whisperer as her host choice in the May to December Contest. These days, I continue to follow her "less is best" principle. Alice's White Rabbit (Sally Hopkinson) has been kind enough to help me when I was in need, and her work is all class. I hope to work with her more in the future. Di White (Midnight Cougar) is another incredible beta who has helped. With my current pre-reader, Ipsita and beta, SarcasticBimbo, we submitted two stories to the Control. Possess. Seduce. Contest. We had fun and won some awards for "Home for the Harvest." Vampyregirl86 was along for that ride as well. They all helped me win a bunch of awards in the Commander in Chief Contest for my entry "Inauguration Day." Currently, I'm working on a couple of stories that are based on real life. The first chapter of 'Up, Up and Away' was where I discovered Midnight Cougar's wonderful talent at editing. It was my donation for the Babies at the Border Compilation. Then Ipsita allowed me to use her characters to write another chapter of 'Christmas Dreaming' to record the terrible 2019 Australian bushfire season. I donated it to Australian Bushfires Compilation, and I've now expanded it into a multi-chapter story. Thanks to all of you for your faith in me and your encouragement. The Girl From The Imperial Theatre (pulled to be re-written) My first story was a huge learning curve, and I uploaded it, not having a clue what I was doing. I'm determined to make it into the story I wanted it to be one day. |
