Author has written 16 stories for Harry Potter.
Life has taught me that there is still a great deal to learn and that some of the best writers are those without formal education or training.
I fell in love with fanfiction after overhearing a conversation between two of my coworkers (their opinion of it was not positive). I had never heard of it. Needless to say, I was hooked after I read my first story. I love Harry Potter fanfiction - particularly Snape-centric stories. I generally write in that genre as well.
If you have any great books to recommend or fanfic stories, I would love to hear about them.
I was recently told that what you read says a great deal about you, so my interests include but are not limited to:
History - Ancient to Early Modern
I love ancient Myths - Mesopotamian, Anglo-Saxon, Irish - they are all fascinating.
Literature has always enthralled me. I think it reflects the ideals and ideas of a society. It, Literature, was the focus of one of my Master's Degrees. I love Chaucer, Medieval Saints Lives, Morality Plays, and Shakespeare.
I, like many women, also love the Victorian Novel: Austin, Elliot (Adam Bede), Dickens(David Copperfield, Dombey and Son), Hardy, Bronte (Tenant of Wildfell Hall), and Gaskell (North and South, Ruth). I could go on and on.
As far as modern fiction I love fantasy: The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit are my favorites (and this little known series that goes by the name Harry Potter), but I also enjoy reading R.A. Salvatore, Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks, Marion Zimmer Bradley, and a host of others.
I also enjoy Stephen King and Dean Koontz. I am currently building my daughter (who is 3) a library, so I collect picture books and young adult books on historical eras, mythological tales, and fantastical stories that I think she might enjoy. I've been reading young adult novels as well.
There are just too many novels to note them all, but I'm sure you get the gist of my interests.
Thank you to those who have read and reviewed. I love feedback and constructive criticism!
