Author has written 17 stories for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Greetings to you, the lucky finder of my humble profile!

Forget about chocolate factories for a minute and consider this: "Once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward; for there you have been, and there you will always long to return." Leonardo the Florentine (aka Leonardo di Ser Piero da Vinci) is said to have said that, and I agree with him, but, knowing he died in 1519 as I do, what I wanna know now is this: how did he know that? However he knew, I reckon he's an inventor who'd appreciate the Great Glass Elevator.

Speaking of the Great Glass Elevator, I'm a fan of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The book, the 2005 movie... they're my favorites, but I've seen 'em all. This website's a treat: more opportunity to read and write about these characters. I thank both groups, readers and writers, for making the efforts that they do, with a special measure of appreciation for that select group who follows, favorites, and/or reviews the chapter/story they've read. For the author, those actions are both reward and compass.

Personally, I'm a she, not a he, decades old, and moving along. My favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, and were I stranded on a desert island, the book I'd want with me is James Thurber's The 13 Clocks, with its wonderful story, style, and illustrations. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory I know by heart. Thanks for stopping by.
