Author has written 34 stories for Legend of Korra, Revolution, Ninja Turtles, Breaking Bad, Master and Commander, Rat Patrol, and Emergency.
Congratulations. You've successfully made your way onto my profile. And if you're selling raffle tickets, go away. Readers and reviewers only. But if you are a reader or reviewer, I suppose I might as well give you the details about myself. I've written thirty-three stories. The Emergency!, Rat Patrol, Master and Commander, TMNT, Breaking Bad, LOK and the Revolution ones are pretty good, if I do say so myself, but "Departure of a Brother" and "The Legend of Korra: Bolin's Team Avatar" are fics I wrote when I was first getting into Fanfiction, so they aren't that good. I only keep them on here for posterity's sake. But I won't stop you from checking them out if you want to. Read away.
Name: Boasamishipper (call me Boa)
Age: Wouldn't you like to know? Hehe, older than one but younger than a hundred.
Favorite Fan Fiction Reads: The Legend of Korra, Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Hobbit, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Pokémon, Terra Nova, Primeval, House of Anubis, Hunger Games, Revolution, Supernatural, Criminal Minds, Star Wars, Sherlock BBC, NCIS, Breaking Bad, White Collar, Rat Patrol, The Walking Dead, CHAOS, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Hawaii Five-O, I Dream of Jeannie, Starsky and Hutch, Star Trek 2009, Star Trek: TOS, Emergency!, The Streets of San Francisco, The Professionals, The Wild Wild West, Hogan's Heroes, Combat!, Warehouse 13, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Avengers, Firefly, Frozen, Tangled, Thor, Maleficent, M*A*S*H, Agent Carter, Night at the Museum, Alias Smith and Jones, CSI, NCIS: LA, Pacific Rim, Inspector Lewis, Inspector Morse, Big Hero 6, The A-Team (TV), The A-Team (Movie), Hetalia - Axis Powers, Hot Fuzz, Mission Impossible, and Harry Potter.
A Bit About Me: My real name is Emily, and ever since I was seven years old, I knew that I wanted to be a writer when I grew up. I wrote all the time and read as many books as I could get my hands on. I created characters and worlds that I loved and hated and some that would never see the light of day. When I was a bit older, I started to get more into the form of novels, mostly in the category of realistic fiction before expanding onto science fiction, post-apocalyptic dystopian, screenplays, and murder mysteries. My vocabulary grew, and I learned the motto of "quality over quantity" when it came to my writing--I toned down the dialogue and added more description. I fleshed out my characters to the point that I could tell you what their children's middle names will be. And now, here I am, in 2015, with twenty-two published fanfics, an original novel in the works, an exposure to awesome fandoms and even more awesome people, and a total of 319,603 words archived on this site.
I discovered fan fiction in 2012, right after The Legend of Korra came out. (For those of you not in the know, The Legend of Korra is the sequel series to the much coveted show Avatar: The Last Airbender.) I discovered Wikia, which is like Wikipedia for kids, and its many forums and chat groups. I joined them all and enjoyed talking about fan theories and gushing about my favorite couples, like Boasami. After a while of being shot down by everyone and being told that this wasn't fan fiction, I decided to find out just what fan fiction was. So I looked up my favorite pairing and it directed me to the Korra fandom--which, at the time, had only about three hundred or so fanfics in it. Excited by this new site that was seemingly created for people like me, I published my first two stories "Departure of a Brother" and "Bolin's Team Avatar", and eagerly awaited for the awesome reviews and favorites to come pouring in.
As my time on this site grew and I became wiser, I realized that my first two fics absolutely sucked. (I keep them on here now only for posterity to remind me how far I've come--seriously, don't read them: they are THAT BAD.) And then I wrote more, in more and more fandoms, learned new skills in grammar, began to integrate myself with the writers that I'm proud to call my good friends, and have never looked back.
I love all of you guys, and appreciate all the support I've been getting with my stories. Keep up your writing and I'll keep up mine. :)
Waiting (I have hardly any patience when it comes to waiting for awesome fics to be updates), my math homework, spelling and grammar errors, people biting their fingernails, Twilight, Fifty Shades of Grey (and its fans), and Justin Bieber. God, don't even get me started on him.
Three Ways to Tell if You're Obsessed With Something:
1. Your stomach is in knots whenever you think about it.
2. You can't stop thinking about whatever you're obsessed with for more than fifteen minutes.
3. You're reading on how to tell if you're obsessed with something. :) Gotcha!
Favorite Quotes from the Fandoms:
Dean: "Hey, it's not even that bad. It's not even that bad, alright? Sammy? Sam. Hey, we're gonna patch you up. You'll be as good as new. I'm gonna take care of you - I'm gonna take care of you ... that's my job, right? Watch out for my pain-in-the-ass little brother? Sam? Sam? Sam. Sammy?!"
Sam: Okay, well... I'm really sorry to have to break this to you, but... your bear is sick. Yeah, he's -- he's got...
Sam: You seem pretty cheery.
The Legend of Korra:
Bolin: Who needs metalbending? We've got Naga! *whoops*
Raphael: I've got a new show for you. It's called "Does Mikey Bend That Way?"
Katniss: I thought you said he hates me.
Peeta: Haymitch hates everyone. I don't think people in general are his thing.
Danny: You're Uncle Miles?
Miles: And you're the kid who got us into this pile of shit.

LAW OF CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT
Here, as one brilliantly gifted user (check out minnichi on this site) so beautifully put it in an "official" review (this is from another site, mind you). The sections emboldened are the parts that you should pay attention to.
"I tried my best to be fair in this section, and I've examined each of your characters closely. As of now, they have...little to no development. Development starts with a personality, which grows into unique flaws in each individual that they must learn from as the story progresses. Your story consists of so much dialogue that I can't sense much of a personality from anyone at the moment. There's a complete lack of inner reflection, one of the keys of personality. That can sometimes be fixed within the dialogue, but what they say as of now still doesn't contribute much to character. I know that [omit] does start to change later on regarding her views about [omit], but character development is much more than just stating that it happens. We're not shown these actual changes, nor are there any traces of emotion to pick up from. Your characters are hindered most by the simplistic, sometimes unrelated dialogue, and you have to gear the story to show us what goes on in their heads. I see great effort in some areas, but they lack basis. You must develop the personality before you can believably tell us why someone is sad, for instance.Naming emotions right now doesn't create the connection it needs to the characters, and as of now this [fanfiction] really needs to pick up on that. They are great characters waiting to be heard! I know you can do it."
The 21 Fanfiction Commandments
1. Thou shalt not intentionally write crappy fanfiction.
2. Thou shalt not publish fanfiction unless thy or thine beta knows the difference between their, they’re, there, and the air.
3. Thou shalt not review thine own fanfiction, whether thou dost so anonymously or logged in to thine account. If thou wish to speak to a reviewer, send thine reviewer a PM.
4. Thou shalt not behave like a brat if thine fanfic receives constructive criticism, even if it be harsh.
5. Thou shalt not write a self-insert character who becomes the love interest of the main character in the series for which thou art writing.
6. Thou shalt learn to be humble while receiving both praise and critique
7. Thou shalt not create false profiles to review thine own stories for the sake of raising the review count.
8. Thou shalt not place thy fanfiction up for public viewing whilst demanding that only positive reviews be left.
9. Thou shalt not plagiarize any author’s work.
10. Thy lemons shall be properly grown, being both anatomically accurate and physically possible.
11. Thou shalt not withhold a chapter from thy story because thy story is not getting reviews.
12. Thou shalt not try to start a flame war with people who leave constructive criticism.
13. Thou shalt take flames with a grain of salt.
14. Thou shalt know the difference between a flame and a review full of constructive criticism.
15. Thou shalt permanently remove any plagiarized stories the first time after thou hast been caught posting them.
16. Thou shall spell the names of canon characters correctly. If thou dost not know how to spell the name of a canon character, thou shalt consult Google, Wikipedia, or the character selection bar in the filter tab for thy fandom’s fanfiction.
17. Thou shalt not change the names of canon characters if thou country’s dub did not change them.
18. If thou must write a story involving pregnancy that is not a parody, thou must depict pregnancy accurately.
19. Thou must understand the meaning of parody and satire.
20. If writing a fanfiction that is not in thine native language, thou shalt get help from a beta who is fluent in that language.
21. If thou shalt break any of these commandments, may thine payoff be worth it, for there art no rules in art but that thou art be good.
However, AlmightyGodAbove and Satan of Hell may leave thou some interesting reviews if thou break more than five of these commandments.

Spur of the Moment (Oneshot) -- The Legend of Korra
Jinora feels bad for trying to live a happy, fulfilling life while her heart still belongs to a dead man. Final installment in the Spurs 'verse.
Original Characters in The TOSOM 'verse.
Midori Sato: Adopted by Asami Sato when she was twelve, she considers Asami and Bolin her older brother and sister. Before she was adopted, Midori was a street orphan whose entire family was killed by the Agni Kais (but they only left her alone because she is a non-bender). Bolin visited her weekly and gave her food and water and occasional shelter at his and Mako's apartment above the pro-bending arena. She was absolutely heartbroken by Bolin's "demise" and attended his funeral, which was where she met Asami. In the present day, she is sixteen years old, an easy-going, happy, and loving teenager. It is revealed in the final chapter of The Other Side of Me that she survived and is being held captive by Lightning Bolt Zolt.
Gainika: The Section Leader of the Agni Kais. Ruthless and absolutely deadly, none of the battle-hardened warriors underneath her are willing to challenge her authority. She struck a deal with Lightning Bolt Zolt and the Triple Threat Triads, saying that in exchange for their gangs working together, she would spy on Bolin and pretended to be his loving girlfriend for almost a year and a half. Gainika is a master of manipulation and deceit, who knows exactly how to use everyone around her for her own personal benefit. (Definitely the best villain in this fic with Lightning Bolt Zolt being a close second.)
Liao: A Recruit of the Agni Kais and the Junior Recruit out of him and Liao. He has been a Recruit for almost three years, and has been Xin's partner for most of that time. He joined the Agni Kais in order to provide money to help his father, who currently suffers from Alzheimer's disease. He's smart, an excellent firebender, and considers himself to be something of a ladies man (always flirting with pretty girls that he sees). He and Xin have a little brother/big brother friendship with one another. He was required to torture Bolin in Chapter 10, and after Xin got hurt protecting Liao from a CID, Liao made the decision to try and help break Bolin out of prison. His partner, Xin, was brutally murdered by his Section Leader, fuelling his resolve to help Bolin break out in any way. He is also in love with Asami Sato, and almost had a one night stand with her in Ba Sing Se, but backed off upon realizing that she loved Bolin. Liao got his revenge for Xin's death by killing Jiktun, Chan's partner.
Xin: The Senior Recruit out of him and Liao, he was always looking out for his younger partner and even took a beating for him in Chapter 12. He was raised by his single mother in Capital City, and they moved to Republic City to escape his abusive alcoholic father. When he was seventeen, Xin's father, Karu, murdered his mother, YinLi, and Xin got revenge for his mother by killing his father. With this act, he got the attention of Gainika, who forced him to join the Agni Kais otherwise she'd turn him in to the police. When he turned twenty-six, he met Liao, and they became partners almost immediately. He liked to joke around, mainly focusing on the relationship between Gainika and Lightning Bolt Zolt, but was very serious when it comes down to spying, his firebending, and doing Agni Kai work. According to Liao, he was good with children, and Midori had a small crush on him. He was murdered by Gainika in chapter twenty-one when Liao was forced to choose between saving him or Bolin.
Satoshi (Ash) Daichi: The seventeen-year-old sarcastic teenager first appeared in chapter six, then proceeded to make several cameo appearances in the following chapters. The Agni Kais and the Triple Threat Triads kidnapped him off the sidewalk in front of Satoshi's brother, Hikaru, and his brother's girlfriend, Mai Zhen. Gainika stuck him into the same cell as Bolin, and the two became fast friends. He took a bullet intended for Bolin and died in Bolin's arms, making Bolin promise that once he got out, he'd have to tell Mai that Satoshi loved her. Bolin saw a lot of himself in Ash, and he has survivor's guilt expressed in nightmares and frequent flashbacks that he survived while Ash didn't. He and Hikaru had a brotherly bond like no other, as said by Mako. He normally went by Ash, a nickname that Hikaru came up with, and was extremely sarcastic, kind and brave.
Hikaru Daichi: He appeared for the first time in Chapter 11, when Mako showed up at his house to interview his family about Satoshi's disappearance. Mako learned in their talk that Hikaru blamed himself for Ash's kidnapping and wished it had been him, and that Hikaru loved his brother more than life itself. Mako gave the distraught twenty-year-old his card and told him to call anytime. Ash had had a crush on Hikaru's girlfriend, Mai, but that didn't affect his and Ash's relationship in the slightest. He and his girlfriend Mai talk with Bolin in Chapter 26, and he doesn't blame Bolin for Ash's death--even though his mother does. He's described as having short, dark curly hair, pale skin, blue eyes, and has an affinity for black shirts and khakis.
Mai Zhen: Hikaru's girlfriend, and the daughter of Dr. Toshio Zhen. She has no alliance with the Triple Threat Triads despite her father working with them. She is an only child, and is eighteen years old. She, Hikaru and Ash were the best of friends, and Ash's disappearance and eventual demise affected and Hikaru deeply. She knew that Ash had had a crush on her, but didn't let it affect their friendship or her relationship with Hikaru. Reviewers have noted the Hikaru-Mai-Ash love triangle is similar to the Mako-Korra-Bolin love triangle, which is done with intention. She's described as having long brown hair in pigtails, blue eyes, and dark skin that symbolized her Earth Kingdom descent.
Chan: One of the Agni Kai Recruits. He was described as a boulder of a man with a rumbly voice, and is the Senior Recruit of him and Jiktun. He and Jiktun got introduced to each other through Xin. Little is known on Chan's backstory, although he had teamed up with Gainika and betrayed Xin and Liao, an event that led to both Xin and Jiktun's demises. He was shot in the shoulder by Asami and kicked in the nuts by Mako, and his current status is presumed dead.
Jiktun: One of the Agni Kai Recruits. He was described as thin, with short black hair and amber eyes and wore glasses occasionally. He was being commissioned to become a Liaison Standard Practitioner by Gainika before his demise, and was referred to as a "fucking genius on the side" by the other Recruits, namely Xin. He and Chan teamed up with Gainika and betrayed Xin and Liao when they were trying to break out Bolin. When Gainika kills Xin, Liao retaliates and shoots Jiktun in the gut, killing him instantly.
Vanek: Vanek is one of Bolin's friends from college in Ba Sing Se and is also a psychology major. He does stand-up comedy acts at a student bar and, according to Bolin, is always good for a laugh. He was one of the first people that Bolin met when he came to Ba Sing Se, and is currently dating Akari.
Tukka: Tukka is one of Bolin's friends from college in Ba Sing Se and is also a psychology major. He always beat Bolin in Pai Sho, and is the more serious one out of him and Vanek. He's currently dating Madoka and wanted to propose to her when Bolin saw him last. In Chapter 24, it's revealed that he proposed to her some time during Bolin's disappearance.
Akari: Vanek's girlfriend, and is a nurse practitioner in training. She met Vanek, Bolin and Tukka when Vanek broke his leg, and she was his nurse the entire time and even helped him with physical therapy. One month after Vanek was discharged, they got together and have been dating ever since. She's described as having red hair and piercing green eyes.
Madoka: Tukka's girlfriend, and is also a psychology major, although she's a year younger than the boys. She's kind, caring and supportive of the boy's accomplishments, especially their near-perfect scores on their final exam, and is described as having dark, raven-colored hair and blue eyes.
Kaito: The doorman at Bolin's apartment in Ba Sing Se, and a pretty good friend of Bolin's. He likes to sing along to songs on the radio, especially the song The Varsity Drag, which he and Bolin dance to in the lobby, something that makes Vahni very uncomfortable. He's described as having dark brown hair, green eyes and a burly frame.
Vahni: The building manager of Bolin's apartment building in Ba Sing Se. While she appears to be stuck-up, she has a small crush on Kaito and enjoys his and Bolin's shenanigans. She is described as looking almost exactly like Eska, with unexpressive blue eyes, raven-colored hair, and a body so skinny that she looked like a toothpick.
