Author has written 6 stories for Harry Potter.
Jo Rowling (I love saying it like that, makes me think I’m part of her inner circle…hey a girl could dream…) is a freaking legend. She’s a literary genius, a description that had become quite redundant of late, but I like calling my apples apples. (Please learn from my mistakes, naming things you’re about to consume never works out well for anyone…my little brother had a pet potato once…Stevie tasted good with white sauce.) I, unlike Ms Rowling, am not a literary genius. I’m not even a literary average. Fine I like to think I’m a literary above average, but I’m definitely not a grammar wizard…I’m actually like a grammar squib…please note I did warn you above that I am not funny but the acceptance never seems to stop me.
My favourite books are the Harry Potter series. I like the Percy Jackson series, Scarlett (sequel to Gone with the Wind) and some Terry Pratchett titles.
My favourite anime are One Piece, Bleach, Fairy Tail, Naruto, Code geass, Death Note and Kuroshitsuji.
A/N: Haseprabio, an amazing artist on deviantart has kindly drawn Ky! Check it out on: Kyrianna Thornton

A/N on 14/03/13: So acting on advice from Mr.Charlie I've added titles to the chapter. The one's in Phoenix Accession came from the idea that I got whilst watching Friends, I always found the way they titled the episodes with The One With/Where... humorous. I titled the chapters with the first thought in my head so forgive me if some are a bit lame.
The following are links to pictures for Phoenix Accession
This comes with a spoiler alert warning. Please try to check the image only when I recommend it in a chapter, but if you don't mind click away by all means people :)
Hey there New Reader! So I was considering putting a summary of Phoenix Accession here but then I tried making a decent summary...and it just was not possible. Even though it was my very first attempt at writing anything, I am not ashamed to say that I am proud of it nevertheless. So give it a read, it has potential...So I decided to just write this instead:
My OC is Kyrianna Thornton, she drives me up the wall most days and she's probably going to do the same to you, but I guarantee she would evoke some sort of emotion out of you (she can be annoyingly persistent like that). In Phoenix Accession she is 14, and in forth year along with Harry, Hermione and Ron.
Anyway, the series encompasses the life of Ky, her introduction into the World of Magic and the relationships she forges with it's inhabitants. Inhabitants ranging from Hermione Granger to Severus Snape to Fred Weasley to Blaise Zabini.
Also, and I have lost quite a bit of readers on this front, the story does become a love triangle...as you could probably see when you see the character pairings in Hallowed Life. It seems I was cursed to be one of the few people crazy enough to write a Harry Potter X OC X Draco Malfoy story. How can a girl that dates Harry be even remotely attractive to Draco Malfoy and vice versa...well that's Ky for you and that's why any sort of triangle occurs only in the third book. This is as Harry, Ky and Draco all change with the introduction of Ky into the mix, like any small change can having a rippling effect, so too was the effect of adding Ky, so the Harry and Draco you know in canon are different in this story ( to varying degrees depending on interaction with Ky and other OC's that came about due to her existence.)
So no, don't expect a God-like Harry, brimming with self confidence, I can never justly write him so. Expect Mr Potter to be confident in a healthy sort of way, and his magical skills to be honed but not to unimaginable levels. And yes, Draco is different, but no, he is not going to suddenly be Mr Good Guy. He isn't going to suddenly realise the error of his ways, but he has grown. He has opened up slightly to the prospect of having people in his life that bring no benefit to it, something Slytherin's rarely do. Why keep someone around if they have nothing to offer you? Draco learns that when someone looks up to you, you want to be just as tall as they see you (No, this isn't Ky. This is another OC that has a profound effect on Draco's character and probably the first girl he ever loves).
I didn't make it a love triangle because I wanted it to be dramatic, honestly it would be so much simpler for it to be just a OCX Harry fic or OC X Draco fic, believe me, much simpler. But I decided to take the road less traveled and honestly it's not been paying off very well if reviews are anything to go by... I made it a love triangle because my intention was to always write Ky Thornton's story, her loves and losses, her hardships and heartbreaks...and in doing so I had to consider all aspects of her life and I am sorry if it's unbearable to imagine her even looking at another person asides from Harry, but certain events leave her with little other option than to do so.
So please, I ask only this, have an open mind. It might just surprise you. And is that one of life's most pleasing attributes- the ability to find yourself surprised?
Enough with my spiel, I hope you give the stories a chance, I cannot tell you how dear it is to my heart and what happiness writing it brings me, and I hope you find some happiness and enjoyment in reading them
Thanks to all those who do read, review, follow, or favorite, you really make every moment worth it. Kalina
