In a world where mobians and robots co-exist, a robot named Metal makes his name known by operating a simple teashop in the heart of town. His life is calm and peaceful, and he takes enjoyment in giving a cup of tea sweetened with a dash of advice to anyone who comes through his doors. But he never expected someone like Sonic to come crashing into that life.

When Sonic fails to show up for their regularly scheduled fight, Metal definitely doesn't become concerned because he's only interested in their fight. So he decides to track Sonic down then finds him hulled up inside his house. Once Metal figures out why Sonic can't fight, he decides it's up to him to do something about it.

During the rapid onset of a rainstorm, Metal ponders the meaning of change. For if the weather can change quickly, does it mean anything can change? Or, because Metal is a robot, is he doomed to stasis forever?

While Sonic and Metal have been allies for some time, they've never quite been able to catch Eggman. Today is no different. During their latest assault, Eggman escapes yet again, using the cover of darkness to leave the two hedgehogs behind. It's up to the two of them to escape Eggman's lab, and in that process, they learn more about each other than they ever knew before.

Metal Sonic was a mature robot, far above the maturity that any of Eggman's robot could ever have. That means that he takes a loss easily, definitely would never be upset over a loss against Sonic, and also absolutely would never feel jealous over something as basic as a vehicle. Except that's a complete lie, even if Metal won't admit it.

In the cramped aisle of an airplane, flight attendants Sonic and Metal are constantly crossing each other's paths. While once an annoyance, conversation and simple glances have made each crossing a bit more pleasant than what would be expected of them. However, when the distractions become too much, Metal is forced to take matters into his own hands. (Flight Attendant AU)

As a couple, Sonic and Metal make a formitable team, and it's all Eggman can do to defend the core of his empire from them. And yet, when Sonic and Metal try to restore Oil Desert Zone, Eggman proves he's still very capable of counter attacks.

After a frozen skirmish leaves Metal Sonic questioning his identity, Sonic decides to step in and help guide Metal to his own self-discovery. But when Metal realizes he can only feel sensations from Sonic, he approaches Sonic with a single request.

It's not that Metal didn't want revenge anymore. He certainly did. After losing to Sonic multiple times, he's sworn violent eternal revenge on this hedgehog's existence! Which, unfortunately, didn't explain why he's currently holding Sonic in his hands right now.

When a sudden rainstorm and a profound administrative misunderstanding force Sonic and Metal Sonic into the same hotel room, the two of them try to pass the time in the only way they know how: competition.

When Amy finds out her crush is dating Metal Sonic, she teams up with the nefarious Dr. Eggman to drive a wedge through their relationship. But true love is impossible to break, and their attempts to drive them apart only end up bringing Sonic and Metal closer together.

If the only way to get Sonic's thoughts out of his head was to melt, Metal was prepared for the inevitable. Yet, when the very one Metal was trying to avoid saves him from his untimely demise, Metal has to reconsider who Sonic is to him. (For Metonic Ship Week)

If anyone noticed Sonic's more frequent slips into the library, they never acknowledged it. That was a good thing-Sonic had to keep his pen pal a secret, especially after their relationship had blossomed into love. But unfortunately for him, he didn't notice that someone had slipped in before him. For Metonic Ship Week.

Attention! Hedgehog located in west corridor. Engaging. Error! Hedgehog evading engagement. He is carrying something. Info: Hedgehog appears to be carrying...Metal Sonic? Error! Hedgehog ran straight through last line of defense. He is enroute to the doctor.

Metal Sonic was created with a single purpose: he was to neutralize Sonic the Hedgehog. Now he is trapped with Sonic and lost in the deadly maze of a madman. When Sonic fails to stop Eggman from releasing Dark Gaia, it's his responsibility to pick up the pieces-literally. Hedgehog by day, werehog by night-Sonic doesn't have time to sleep. But when Metal Sonic discovered how hard Sonic's been pushing himself, he does his best to intervene.

It doesn't matter if the Master Emerald shards are in there: no one can get into Twinkle Park without a date. So if Sonic wants to get in, he's going to have to accept Metal Sonic's strange request to do it.
