Author has written 3 stories for Phantom of the Opera, and Wizard of Oz.
Hello, I'm EriksAngeDeLaMusique! You can call me Angel or Erik's Angel, for short if you prefer. It doesn't matter to me. No, I'm not French, although I wish I could speak the language. I've used it on another website-or maybe it was here?-where someone had EriksAngelOfMusic so I couldn't do that.
My pretty picture/icon/avatar/whatever you want to call it is of my favourite broadway performers Ramin Karimloo as The Phantom and Sierra Boggess as Christine. Lucky me that they both performed the leads in my favourite musical! :) As for the icons for my fanfics, I found them on Deviantart and fell in love with them. The one for My Protector is by Muirin007, and the one for Lucky One is by PhantomGirl1.
Currently I have two stories for Phantom of the Opera, and if you have read My Protector you will know it's not very dark. Which is strange, because the other ideas I have for fanfictions and just stories in general are. I guess since it's my first I needed to get all the Phantom love and fluffiness out of my system :) My favourite stories to read about are-you guessed it-Phantom of the Opera! I prefer darker ones with Leroux-inspired Eriks but I am just as happy with light-hearted fics. As long as Erik acts like Erik, though, small differences are okay. Let's just say if he can become relatable to the fop-er, I mean Raoul-in any way, shape, or form, I will not be a happy phan. Haha see what I did there? Phan, get it? Like fan but with phantom in it? Haha...ha...ha? No takers? Alright.
My second story, Lucky One, is about a performer, Erik Destler, who captivated Christine as a child, and made her want to perform. Even when he suddenly disappears from the limelight, she still adores him. When Erik hears Christine perform, years after he gives up performing himself, he demands to teach her. Christine consents, but when she gets to know him, she realizes Erik, her idol, is nothing like she had expected. She makes it her wish to not only understand him, but to get him to perform again.
I'm mostly focusing on My Protector, but I liked the idea for Lucky One, which I got the main idea for while listening to Taylor Swift's The Lucky One. I think the lyrics are actually kind of creepy, in a sense. My favourite lines are "But can you tell me now you're the lucky one?" and "A few years later, I showed up here, and they still tell the legend of how you disappeared". I think those are the main ones that gave me the idea.
Since I really don't know what else to say, here are some random facts about me :)
It's my dream to be on Broadway, specifically as the part of Christine.
Sometimes I wish I was a boy so that I could sing the Phantom's part in the musical. Gosh, they're all so pretty!
I enjoy opera music and hope to begin learning how to sing opera.
I am musically inclined if you haven't already been able to tell :P I play guitar, piano, sing, and I want to learn to play the violin.
I dance ballet and act.
Though I say I love Broadway and I enjoy opera, I don't know too much of either, so if hard-core opera/Broadway enthusiasts want to recommend singers, performances, shows, etc, I would love to look them up. :)
I just realized these aren't very random because they're all related...*sigh*. Oh well, thanks for visiting my page and I hope you read and review my stories-and more importantly that you enjoy them. :)
Oh! One last thing-you will soon realize I adore smiley faces. Perhaps you will soon become annoyed by them. Perhaps you will begin to post smiley faces every where you go, too. Perhaps you may even join my smiley face rebellion (as long as you don't ask what we're rebelling against. I just thought it sounded cool).
Keep on smiling,
