Author has written 7 stories for Merlin, Of Mice and Men, and Sherlock.
I'm a girl in her mid-teens from Britain, one who spends far too much time immersed in books and not enough time in the real world. I'm an aspiring author and actor and I do stuff like performing arts in my spare time. Writing is a large hobby of mine, although I go through phases of wanting to write entire novels to not being able to string together a chapter. However, I always try to continue stories I've already started.
Someone once suggested that I change my name to Morgana, because I’m so evil. (Please note that when I say “evil”, I don’t mean Voldemort kind of evil, I mean scheming, an odd sense of humour and slightly violent with a lacrosse stick. My friends love to use this term to describe me.) I seem to have a slight obsession with leaving chapters on cliff-hangers, so be warned, although I'm trying to break this habit.
I’ve wanted to be an author ever since I was seven years old, I think it might have sprung from the love I have for the fantasy world; sometimes I wish I could live in a book rather than the real world. I used to make up complicated pretend games when I was that age, so I think that one day I just decided to write them down as well as act them out. Someday I hope that my writing will be published; I don’t want to be rich and famous with screaming fans, I just want people to recognise my work and appreciate it.
I came to this site to learn and to see if I was any good at writing (and thank you all for giving me a confidence boost). I have never shown my family any of my work, and before I came here my English teachers were the only ones to have seen my creative writing, so I never really knew if I was any good. (Teachers don't exactly pay much attention when there's more than thirty in the class.) I hope that over the course of the next few years, I will improve and that someday my work will be properly published.
