Author has written 13 stories for Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, Glee, and Orphan Black.
Hello all! Nightshade's the name! I'm an obsessive amateur writer, science geek, and a glass-half-full optimist who still likes to stay aware that said glass may spill... I'm prone to laughing fits, incomprehensible geeky rants, caring for others too much, talking with my hands so enthusiastically that those sitting nearby might accidentally get smacked in the head, and bouts of random singing, no matter the locale. I discovered my love of writing in grade school, and never quite put it down! I'm fascinated by everything life has to offer, inspired by just about anything, and writing about all these little inspirations helps keep me relatively sane amidst the stressful-ness of life in general. If I had to describe myself in one word... Unique?
A note on the frequency of my updates, I will always try to post new chapters as quick as possible, but I'm getting into a period in my life where I have to dedicate a lot more time to my academics, extracurriculars, and other mildly stressful but exciting things. I do love my writing, and I love you all, my readers, but y'know, you've got to do what you've got to do! And what I've got to do is work hard, apply myself, and get into university! So I hope I have your well-wishes and continued support, which I'm immeasurably grateful for, but because I value your opinions and support so much, I felt you all deserved a rationale as to why it might take 1-2 months in between updates. I aplogize if it causes any inconvenience or undue frustration.
I absolutely adore Orphan Black, but I also watch (and sometimes write for) Criminal Minds, Grey's Anatomy, The Mentalist, and my recent guilty pleasure, Pretty Little Liars.
Favorite novel... I'll read almost anything, but my favorite book would have to be Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury
Favorite song: 'Where Does The Good Go' by Tegan and Sara (basically anything Tegan and Sara) but I'll listen to pretty much anything that sounds vaguely indie
Currently reading: Left Neglected by Lisa Genova
