Currently having a stroke because Mark of Athena is out and I don't get it until Monday, so I have to physically avoid spoilers (which is really hard, especially on goodreads. There are just so many links with SPOILERS in big letters. It's like omg, I could find out exactly what happened...NO you don't want that. Bad Lyzzie. But I need to know what happens...) Gahhhhhh. I was actually very grateful for my math exam this morning so I could descend into the black and white world of finding the volumes of areas revolved around the x-axis. You know what, I'm going to go finish reading Game of Thrones. I'll probably finish the last hundred pages or so in a day, but it may be enough to keep me sane.

And so the week long torment and battle of wills begins...

This semester, school is taking a huge amount of my time as I study for my AP exams. Therefore, updates will likely be erratic for the next few months. Sorry.

In other news, my brother (who has been reading his way through the PJO/HoO series since November, at my insistence) has at last reached Mark of Athena.

To everyone who has been waiting for the next chapters of Fall From Grace and 100 Themes of Leo:

I AM SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School took even more of my time then I thought it would, during the months of March and most of April was Music Competition Season, during which I was busy accompaning my brother on his viola, and to top it off, my orchestra music was so hard this concert that I actually had to practice it.

Also, Clockwork Princess reduced me to a puddle of tears, incapable of pushing down keys on keyboards.

Thankfully, the last Septimus Heap book has healed me.

Hopefully, I will be able to post on a regular basis after May 17th.

Fall From Grace has not been abandoned! It will be finished, because I've promised myself not to start any more multichapters until I at least make some progress on it. And I have ideas, and House of Hades is in two months, so...

Well I've taken The Lightwoods With Hodge of the list of in-progress works because I haven't even thought about writing about anything for that in about two years.

I haven't written anything for either FFG or 100 Themes since last September, partly because my interest in PJO has declined to a secondary fandom, partly because I've been busy with school, and partly because I've been rather embarrassed at myself for portraying both Piper and Jason in such a negative light in FFG. While I wasn't the biggest fan of either of them up to MOA, HOH really made me like them both a lot, and I feel that FFG does not portray them in-character.

I do feel kind of guilty about just abandoning them both, especially since I really hate leaving things unfinished. I might try to work on them a little if I have time, but I'm not sure if that will actually happen. I have to get my college applications in this semester, and it's just been so long...I don't know.
