Author has written 6 stories for Mortal Instruments, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
Call me Lyza (or Lyzzie if you insist). It's parts of my real full name fiddled around with.
I live on the eastern half of North America.
I am in my middling teens.
And that's all you get to know about me ;)
I currently have two ongoing stories,
1. 100 Themes of Leo.
2. Fall From Grace.
I am not a published author of anything, therefore I own nothing anywhere. I don't own the themes for 100 Themes of Leo either; those belong to Wishing-Fire.
Getting feels from a story I'm writing for English class. *sniff*
Reading Game of Thrones; I feel a new fandom coming on!
I now have a goodreads account. You can find me there as Lyza.
Currently having a stroke because Mark of Athena is out and I don't get it until Monday, so I have to physically avoid spoilers (which is really hard, especially on goodreads. There are just so many links with SPOILERS in big letters. It's like omg, I could find out exactly what happened...NO you don't want that. Bad Lyzzie. But I need to know what happens...) Gahhhhhh. I was actually very grateful for my math exam this morning so I could descend into the black and white world of finding the volumes of areas revolved around the x-axis. You know what, I'm going to go finish reading Game of Thrones. I'll probably finish the last hundred pages or so in a day, but it may be enough to keep me sane.
And so the week long torment and battle of wills begins...
Because I am a masochist who loves to torment myself when I don't have a book yet, I have published a Leo-centric oneshot called Closing the Doors of Death revolving around my favorite character, the one and only Leo Valdez.
Finished MOA in 10 hours. I'm currently in a book coma.
Hey, hey! I've recovered from MOA (sort-of), and am back with a new story, 100 Themes of Leo! (see top of profile)
Oh, and I now ship Lazel 100%.
New one-shot, Something's Missing. Lazel angst, with a little bit of Jeyna, Jasper, tragic Frazel, and just-friends Liper thrown in.
I've started my first non-oneshot story, Alone. It started from an idea that came very suddenly...
No updates for the next week or so. I'm very busy with schoolwork and tech week for A Christmas Carol (I'm Martha)
I'm sort of back, and also my friend who borrowed my copy of MoA for a month finally gave it back, so now I can re-read the Piper bits (which to be honest I didn't pay too much attention to the first time around) and therefore do reaserch for future chapters of Alone.
Title change from Alone to Fall From Grace.
My parents gave me 'La Boheme' on DVD for Christmas and I DON'T FEEL WELL AT ALL. *sobs, wails and bawls*
-Opera nerd problems.
...I will never recover from that
Going on vacation for a week tomorrow so no updates. When I get back, I will revise and post the third chapter to FFG
This semester, school is taking a huge amount of my time as I study for my AP exams. Therefore, updates will likely be erratic for the next few months. Sorry.
In other news, my brother (who has been reading his way through the PJO/HoO series since November, at my insistence) has at last reached Mark of Athena.
I FEEL SO EVIL!!!!
To everyone who has been waiting for the next chapters of Fall From Grace and 100 Themes of Leo:
I AM SO SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
School took even more of my time then I thought it would, during the months of March and most of April was Music Competition Season, during which I was busy accompaning my brother on his viola, and to top it off, my orchestra music was so hard this concert that I actually had to practice it.
Also, Clockwork Princess reduced me to a puddle of tears, incapable of pushing down keys on keyboards.
Thankfully, the last Septimus Heap book has healed me.
Hopefully, I will be able to post on a regular basis after May 17th.
And then of course, my computer got a virus. Sorry again guys. I just got back from summer camp though, so I'll try to post more often.
Fall From Grace has not been abandoned! It will be finished, because I've promised myself not to start any more multichapters until I at least make some progress on it. And I have ideas, and House of Hades is in two months, so...
Look who finally got a tumblr!
New oneshot for Lazel week: We Lost. Warning: it's not happy.
I'm so sorry I haven't updated anything in months. House of Hades killed Lazel and...well, I've had a hard time finding any inspiration for anything. I also recently got into homestuck so...yeah.
Well I've taken The Lightwoods With Hodge of the list of in-progress works because I haven't even thought about writing about anything for that in about two years.
I haven't written anything for either FFG or 100 Themes since last September, partly because my interest in PJO has declined to a secondary fandom, partly because I've been busy with school, and partly because I've been rather embarrassed at myself for portraying both Piper and Jason in such a negative light in FFG. While I wasn't the biggest fan of either of them up to MOA, HOH really made me like them both a lot, and I feel that FFG does not portray them in-character.
I do feel kind of guilty about just abandoning them both, especially since I really hate leaving things unfinished. I might try to work on them a little if I have time, but I'm not sure if that will actually happen. I have to get my college applications in this semester, and it's just been so long...I don't know.
