Author has written 6 stories for Lion King.

Hello dear readers!

First off, welcome to my profile and thank you so much for taking an interest in my stories.

I'd like to start by telling you a little bit about myself and how I got started writing stories for fanfiction.

About Me

I am a 18 year old American girl. While I do live on a small farm out in the middle of a very rural community, I am in no way a red-neck!

I am now currently a senior in high school. I love all school subjects except for math, which is basically my mortal enemy. (Algebra is the worst! But hey, numbers and letters are like oil and water, they just don't mix!) However, I absolutely adore my history classes.. I also love my English classes because writing has always been something I enjoy as well as reading..

My Work On Fanfiction

Alright, so, how did I end up on this site?

Well, ever since I was a young girl, I've always loved to write. However, until this past summer I had never written anything beyond school assignements. Even though I had read countless stories on this site, I never thought that I would be writing anything on them. But an idea came to my head one day and the idea was this.

Why hasn't anyone started a series about the Queens of Pride Rock?

So, I sat down and began writing. I did a bit of research (I honestly didn't know too much about the Kings and Queens before Mufasa and Sarabi) and it seemed to me at the time that a lion called Mohatu was the founding king of the Pridelands, however the name of his mate was unknown. And then...

Heart of a Lioness: Through the Eyes of a Queen series was born!

I came up with a lioness named Jolina who was to be Mohatu's mate and the first Queen of the Pridelands.

From Jolina's story I wanted to work my way up through the stories of Uru, Sarabi, Nala, and Kiara. So here I am! Writing about the strength, struggles, and lives of Pride Rock's queens. After all, the story of a pride can only be told through the heart of a lioness. And the destiny of a kingdom, seen through the eyes of its queen.

I also anticipate writing about common lionesess such as Sarafina and Vitani. These will be called Heart of a Lioness: Voices of the Pride. However, I'm still not sure if I will ever start those.

My absolute favorite character in The Lion King is Simba. Ever since I was a little girl he has been my hero. And I knew I couldn't bare writing Lion King stuff without paying respect to the one true king. So I also have a collection of one-shots focused around him. The collection is called A Tribute to Simba.

The King's Return: A Tribute to Simba

Going Back: A Tribute to Simba

Well, thank you so much for being brave and reading all of this! I hope that you enjoy my stories and if you're reading this 50 years from now, please feel free to leave a review, I'm sure I'll still be checking out my Lion King stories! And if you just want to chat feel free to shoot me a PM! Thanks! :)

So, I am one of those weird people who like to go and read other people's profiles, especially those of my readers and authors of stories I'm reading. And in many profiles of fellow Lion King writers, I have found a Lion King meme survey type thing, and I thought it was really cool and wanted to do one for myself, so here we go!

The Lion King Meme

Favorite character?

Simba for sure!

Least favorite character?

TLK, Zazu (not that I don't like him, but compared to everyone else, he's my least favorite). TLK2, Nuka (feel bad for him, but Vitani had to put up with Zira as well and she didn't turn into a sissy)

Characters who never met but you wish had?

Kiara and Sarabi

Most likable character

Nala, especially in the first one, she embodies a brave and selfless female character who is strong willed, but not annoyingly hot-headed.

Character you wish got more development?

Sarabi (she should've had way more screen time) and Sarafina (they could have at least made her distinct in the lioness scenes, as they did with Sarabi and Nala).

In fact, I think that the whole pride dynamic could have been taken to a whole new level if more scenes featuring all of the lionesses had been used in the film.

Character you used to hate but now love?

Vitani, her rough mannerisms used to annoy me, but now I think she's pretty cool. Can't say that I LOVE her, but I do like her.

Characters you used to love but now hate?

I don't HATE any of the characters that I loved as a child haha, yes, I still love Timon and Pumbaa.

Which TLK character do you relate to?

Simba-he's my favorite and I just feel strongly connected to him. Sarabi- I want to be like her. Kiara- I have the same sheltered life that she does.

Favourite outside-the-movies character?

Uru, mostly because I'm having a blast creating a story for her right now.

Favorite deleted character?

Favorite deleted scene?

The scene where Sarabi sings a lullaby to Simba.

Favourite area in the movie?

The promontory of Pride Rock, the place were kings (and queens) take their place in the Circle of Life.

Favorite score?

King of Pride Rock- indescribably beautiful, adds so much to an already epic scene.

Favorite songs?

Circle of Life, We Are One, and Can You Feel the Love Tonight

Favorite quote?

1. "Remember who you are. You are my son and the one. true. king. Remember who you are..."

2. "De king has returned."

3. "Hey, where are you going?"

"I'm going back!"

Favorite species?

Favorite group (Pridelanders, outlanders, etc)?

Funniest moment?

Rafiki going Kung Fu.

Saddest moment?

The scene where Simba looks at the stars and collapses on the ledge after Timon and Pumbaa tease him about what his father told him of the Great Kings.

Scariest moment?

The part when Mufasa and Simba are still in the stampede and Scar is walking along a ledge watching them with evil eyes.

Happiest moment?

When Simba roars at the top of Pride Rock and the lionesses join him.

Which of the trilogy is your fav?

TLK 1-most definetly

Do you consider the sequels and/or TLK6NA canon?

TLK2- yes, TLK1/2-no (it kinda disrespects the first one if you know what I mean) 6NA- well, I've never read them, but I find that most of the characters (Tojo, Kula, and the rest) are a neat extension to the LK universe

What do you think of the Kimba controversy?

Load of bologna

Pet peeves you have (one for each movie)?

TLK 1--The lionesses were not highlighted enough, including Nala.

TLK 2-- Still, neither Outlander nor Pridelander lionesses (excluding Kiara) were given enough screen time

TLK 1 1/2--Insulted the majestic moments in the original movie

Crack pairings you've heard of?

Simba/Zira. (Eww)

Do you want another sequel (if so, involving what)?

Something that explores the generations before Simba's time. So I guess, I'd rather have a prequel. If done right though, a movie about Kiara's reign would be interesting, but that would destroy the plots of a lot of good fanfiction stories, and I don't want to see a movie in which there is a real chance that Simba is dead. (I know, I'm such a fan girl lol)

Could Scar really be Kovu's father?

I mean there's a chance since Zira seems to be in love with him. But I get the feeling that Scar never returned Zira's affection. And they stress it pretty hard in the second movie that he isn't. And I don't think Simba would let Kiara date her cousin...(shivers)

Could Vitani or Nuka be Scar's?

I think that it's more likely that Nuka would be than Vitani. Nuke does kinda look like him.

Is Kovu emo?

Maybe trained to be a heartless killer is a better definition for it.

Do you think Zazu is obnoxious?

He wouldn't be Zazu if he wasn't. But I still love him. :) He is the first main character that we see in the movie.

Do you believe the Timon/Pumbaa thing?

Nope, they're just a couple of pals soaking up the good life.

Was Simba too overprotective in the sequel?

Not really, considering there was a deluded and insane lioness backed by a savage pride that lived only to get revenge on him through any means. (Emerald Dreamer96's response, I believe it covers what I feel as well.)

Is Kiara truly a ditz?

A little, but she's also extremely sheltered. I think her kind heart and gentleness overpower that though. And perhaps, her "ditzyness", to a point, is a part of her charm.

What do you think happened to the hyenas after LK 1?

I think a lot of them died in the fire and the rest high tailed it out of the area (Pridelands and Outlands).

What did you think of the Timon and Pumbaa series?

Haven't seen it in forever, thought it was cute when I was little.

Do you believe in the Shenzi/Banzai theory?

Yes, I mean, c'mon, they do fight like an old married couple.

Do you think it could ever tie into other Disney movies (if so, which ones)?

No. I think it would cause flaming balls of fury to be hurled at Disney if that were ever attempted outside of fanfiction.

What's up with Nala's eye colour?

I will forever stand by the notion that her eyes are blue. I think the producers were trying to make it realistic that her eye color would change shades based on her surroundings.

Thing the makers changed that you wish they hadn't?

Nala should've had her Shadowland scene, even if they had to tone Scar's suggestiveness down for the movie.

Have you seen TLKoB (if so, did you like it)?

No, but I really, really, want to.

Do you like anthro/human/AU's?

I like AUs if they are well written. Never read any anthros.

Voice actors you loved?

Matthew Broderick (Ferris Bueller and Simba kinda seem to fit haha) Moira Kelly (her voice really fit well with adult Nala) and Maige Sinclair (excellent voice of Sarabi and conveying her calm and regal power)

Did you know Jim Cummings (voice of Ed) covered for Jeremy Irons (voice of Scar) at the end of "Be Prepared"?

Yes, he has great talent.

Do you consider Scar/Zira to be an official pairing?

Depends, Scar never mentioned her and did not have any children with her so it appears that it was a pretty onesided relationship.

What do you think happened to Sarabi in the second movie?

I think that she passed away. It makes sense, can you imagine how exhausted she was carrying everyone through Scar's reign while she was attempting to heal the hole in her heart? I think she just kinda felt like she could finally rest when Simba took over, she knew the kingdom was safe, and that it was ok for her to finally go home.

Do you think Scar is Nala's father?

There's no way he could ever get Sarafina. Plus that would entail other...disturbing issues.

Do you think Ed is mentally challenged?

No, just different, I also suspect that he is actually pretty smart just hiding it.

Own any TLK merchandise?

TLK 1 and 2 movies, a Simba stuffed animal, Lion King Christmas ornaments, and a picture of Sarabi, Mufasa, and Simba

Were the hyenas' actions justified?

I don't think hyenas even have sense to look for justification.

Were Scar's actions justified?

No, in my opinion, he was just a spoiled brat who didn't get his way. And a power hungry tyrant.

Were Zira's actions justified?

No, she wasted her life and the lives of her children to avenge a dead tyrant.

Why do you think the Outlanders were still loyal to Scar?

I think that they were not original Pride Landers and were closest to Zira, so she easily manipulated them.

Crossovers you like?

None really.

Do you find Timon and Pumbaa enjoyable or annoying?

Timon and Pumbaa...I like the way Simba put it, you learn to love em'. :)

The best king or king-to-be?

The best queen or queen-to-be?

Sarabi. (Don't get me wrong, I love Nala, but she didn't have to carry the heavy burdens that Sarabi did) (And Kiara will be a kind queen, we just didn't get to see her strong side because she hasn't matured into it yet.)

Timon or Pumbaa?

You just can't have one without the other. C'mon this is the dream team we're talking about lol.

Kiara or Kopa?

Kiara. (Think it's interesting for ff, but don't really buy into the Kopa story as cannon)

Scar or Mufasa?

Mufasa,(Is that even a plausible question).

Simba or Kovu?

Simba. (Is it abnormal to have a crush on a cartoon lion?)

Scar or Zira?

Scar, at least he actually had something to base his lunacy on.

Simba or Zira?

Simba or Scar?

Kiara or Nala?

Mufasa or Simba?

Zazu or Gopher?

Zazu, but I like the Gopher.

Shenzi or Banzai or Ed?

Shenzi, she's the only one with any brains.

Ma or Uncle Max?

Sarabi or Sarafina?

Rafiki or Zazu?

Simba/Nala or Mufasa/Sarabi?

Shenzi/Banzai or Shenzi/Ed?

Scar/Zira or Scar/Nala?

Sarafina/Scar or Shenzi/Scar?

Can't imagine either with him... (Yuck)

Kovu/Kiara or Vitani/Kopa?
