I feel silly writing one of these, like it's a dating profile or something, but a couple of my lovely readers have messaged me to say that I should have something up and I am following through :)

I like a lot of different things, but I love to read and write. I stumbled onto fanfics in 2013, while searching the internet for theories of what might have happened if Anne Boleyn had given Henry VIII a son (I cannot get enough of the Tudor time period).

I found a The Tudors TV show fanfic delving into exactly that theory, and it was like a whole new world opened up to me.

I was hooked; my favourite shows, my favourite characters, but expanded by many beautiful imaginations.

After reading so many wonderful stories, I decided to take the risk and plunge into writing some of my own. It's scary to put a part of your own brain, your own imaginings, out there for others to read and judge. It's like exposing your ego! Not to mention the time and effort put into it! But I've been lucky in having mostly honest, pleasant, and very sweet people (with impeccable taste) reviewing my work.

My hubby and I are hardcore nerds at heart, like MMPORPG playing, comic-con attending, superhero loving nerds, and we happily bring my step kids along to a lot of fun stuff and spend a lot of time immersing ourselves in that wonderful world. We've got a baby boy now, our little Piglet (with another bun in the oven as we speak), and they too shall know the power of the dark side, one day.

I'm utterly, totally, maniacally, obsessed with two things: The Walking Dead (comics, novels, and show), and Captain America (all comic iterations, cinematic versions, all of it, Cap is my Everything).

I have other interests, obviously: GoT, TBBT, the rest of the Marvel film/TV/Netflix universe, Star Wars, and my original nerdly obsession, dating back to 1987: "Encounter at Farpoint"; little Mooka decided that night she was either going to grow up and marry Captain Picard or be him.

So that's me. Go ahead and read my stuff if you share any of my obsessions (don't expect a Star Wars or Star Trek fic outta me though, I think they're perfect and wouldn't dare change them).
