Author has written 1 story for Monkees.

Salutations. We are SwimmingInADuck. And yes, we meant to say 'we.' No we're not insane, we're just two people. I'm Prudence (I have an account thingie here by myself too! yay!) And I'm far too hyper for my own good. But her name is Cat. Anyway, she's telling me to ignore her, so I bhjmnr (pardon all interruptions like that. Cat has a habit of trying to make me stop typing stuff. I can be a bit of a control freak.) Ok. Now I should say something... Hi. Shiny. Kitty. Whatever.

ANYWAY! We had the crazy idea to start a joint fanfiction together. This is not going to turn out well... I think now is the time when we start telling you about ourselves... Right? Beats me, I'm just here because my mom isn't home yet. Jeez. That's a nice thing to say. You aren't even here because you like me?! Why do we even have this account then?! Too much time on our hands and an obsession with the Monkees? Plus we bond over the fact that computers hate us. Which is ironic, given the medium... Point... Well if you actually are getting through these dense and depressing paragraphs of our ramblings. (Hopefully we haven't made you cry yet. The tear-jerker is yet too come! Muahahahah! Seriously? How come you get the evil laugh? This is because you can't laugh maniacally in real life, isn't it?) *Ehem.* Up-wards and on-wards (Ummm... Cat, you don't need to bounce... it's an expression) Well, if you actually want to know about us. Read on dear reader. :D

The Sad Tale of Prudence:
Well, firstly it's not sad. I just kind of stole that title from a song from a musical.
You would. I'm an insane teenage girl who is obsessed with many things. I adore The Beatles, The Monkees, Harry Nilsson, and pretty much all other music from the 1960's. Also, I love sci-fi. Things like Doctor Who, Torchwood, Star Trek, you get the picture. Ummm... I like reading. :D I mostly read fantasy because it's amazing. What else to say? What else to say? OH YEAH! I act. Yup... and I play multitudes of instruments... and I dance... and I like to write. (No duh) Yeah.. I guess that's it... I'm tired...

My life story:

See above.
Um... yeah. I like the Monkees and the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, etc., etc. (Hee-hee. King and I.) Focusing! ...No I'm not. Anyway, I like sci-fi, and the sixties, and dance, and acting, and blah, blah, blah... Yeah. Like I said, see above. We are freakishly similar. I feel I should mention Merlin and Sherlock, because SOMEONE forgot them and they are of course amazing British shows and deserve all possible love.
Also, I am a hopeless romantic, so beware.

May I apologise for not mentioning SOME TV shows... No. No you may not.
We should warn you in advance that we take forever to actually get writing done. Sometimes we'll be going full steam on it and then it will peter out for a while. You may get a huge chunk of a story and then have to wait for a loooooooooong time. We apologise for the unbearable suspense we may leave you in, and we'll try our hardest to not leave you with cliffhangers.

Yeppidy, yep yep. Have fun reading our insanity once it gets posted! For now we must say goodbye as we have the unfortunate task of Honors Biology homework awaiting us... I shall now say something clever to end our profile... Yeah, I got nothing. Read!

How The Monkees really Got Together reviews
Yet another one of those stories... Well, as of right now the only teenage girls popping in are for cameos... But to the point! This is our version of how The Monkees would have gotten together in the television universe... This is basically a bunch of humour and Monkees references, with a whole heap of unimportant time travel thrown in for good measure. Beware the pen thief.
