After a few months lurking around Fanfiction.net as a reader, I want to try something new, guess what? Yes you're right. I tried to start writing my own stories and become an author. At first, I thought it will be hard but fun, and you know? It's really way more fun than I previously thought. I enjoy being a writer more than I ever thought it would be. You should give it a try if you haven't tried to write your own story yet.

And here's something concerning 'REVIEWS', which I copied from Xovermasta's profile.

Writers- all of them, from famous authors to subtle FF writers- ALL depend on the feedback from readers. Vision Dominican brought up an interesting albeit tragically true idea:

"Lack of reviews is the greatest killer of fan fic writers out there. We at the institute wish to let the public know of how they can pitch in to save our dying writers.

1) Drop a review every other chapter. It may not seem like much, but reviews are actually what many of us want to see. That, and hits. Hits do make us happy but we don't really know if people like our story or not.

2) Visit our author page. Those kind of hits really make us happy. It's where we showcase our entourage of friends, beta readers, and stories. Some of us even tidy up with set areas for upcoming story ideas and character bios.

3) Send an email. While normally I'd prefer a review, emails are just as good. Really, it warms my heart to communicate with another reader or writer."

What you call being "too lazy to review" is what we call "a flame to the pages" as the writers. That one minute or two that you felt "too lazy" to review is another minute of creeping discouragement that all writers feel as they begin to think...

"Why am I even here…?"

"What's even the point of continuing?"

"My skills must be terrible…no one cares for my story…"

"I'll never be a good writer...I quit."

These are only a few thoughts that go through every writer's head- that go through MY head- when we put out a chapter / story with all our heart and soul within, and we sit there…and sit…and wait…and not a single person says even a word.

If you're not a writer, you have NO IDEA how much that hurts…

If you ARE a writer, then I'm sure you know just how great it feels when someone is kind enough to leave a heartwarming and encouraging review, and you read it, smiling while thinking…"Wow…fuck...I did it…"

So, why not give fellow writers the same luxury here?

Too many times I've seen epic and utterly beautiful works of literary art fall to pieces before finally being abandoned due to the terrible discouragement that the lack of reviews can cause.

Sometimes, it is so severe that the very writer himself decides to quit, denying the world his skills of writing that in truth would have deeply enjoyed.

So…

Just one minute, that's all it takes. Just a few gentle taps of the fingers on your keyboard, a few seconds or so of your time, and your words can SAVE a writer from a dark demise.

Story challenges:

Here is some ideas that came into my my mind. I'd like to write these down by myself but I already have two story to finish. So, if any of you are interested and want to make one of my them onto a story it would be real great!

1. Rosario Vampire challenge:

This one may be the hardest one to write, because it takes place sooo many years before the canon started. That being said, you won't have any basic plot to follow and start with. This challenge will force you to write it down from purely your own imagination.

Touhou Fuhai, yes that's the name of one of three dark lords beside Tenmei Mikogami and Akasha Bloodriver. I had never seen a story with him as the main character. If you try to search his name for any stories done by other authors, you won't find any. It's simple because no one had ever tried to write a story with him as the main character. So if you choose to take up my challenge, you will be the first one! Congratulation!

If you're not interested, just scroll down and look at my other challenges. But for those who are interested, continue reading this as I will tell you some basic about this challenge of mine.

Basically, I don't believe the three dark lords got their title from defeating Alucard only. There must be different reasons for them to raise up in rank among monsters and build their reputation from scratch. I believe that the event where they defeated Alucard was just the final trigger for it. So you may use this excuse as the basic for the story. You can try to make some scenes where the Youkai world was somehow in chaos and it happened that all the three dark lords or just one of them appeared and solved the problem in their own way, gaining respect from others.

Maybe you can also add a Youkai tournament into the story, since it will be a good excuse for a monster to be considered one of the strongest among other Youkai species. It will also gives you some space to add any other Youkai species of your choice that didn't show up in the canon, come into your story.

However, this may sound weird/ridiculous, but I think that Touhou Fuhai is the strongest one of three dark lords. Here is some list of his ability if you don't know already. You may also want to read the RosarioVampire capu2 manga, chapter 37 to see his fight with Akua.

- Hougetsu Jigen-Tou : Similar with Akua's Jigen-Tou but his Jigen-Tou is on the other level of mastery from hers. He can use it as a distance attack with immense power, he didn't even need to come close to his opponent in a fight. The weakness of this technique from my point of view: It can easily dodged by fast opponents.

- Bakuryuujin : A close combat anti air Youjutsu. It can released a shockwave through the air, pushing back and attacking all who attempt to get near him.

- Muei Tou : A defensive technique against other Jigen-Tou user.

- Engokujin : The Fire Hell Circle, a suicidal technique which causes the temperature rises to several thousand degrees and exploded afterward. He had never used this technique, it was displayed by Ling-Ling, but since he is a master in Youjutsu, I think he should be able to perform this technique as well.

- Dimensional Barrier : He is able to create a barrier. The barrier can be used for both defensive and offensive technique. In manga, he use it to hide Moka and the other from Akua's sight (kind of invisible barrier), as well as imprison ghoul Tsukune inside the barrier so he won't be able to hurt anyone outside. However, from my point of view again, if he use it in his fight to surround his opponent, he could easily defeated his trapped opponent. It's kind like Gaara's Sabaku Soso. He had said his barrier was meant to kill whoever went into or went out of the barrier.

- Immense speed and great amount of Youki : Well, it's not that special, but for him to move so fast in a blink of eyes, faster than vampires which was considered the strongest race among monsters. He can sneak behind Akua and Issa Shuzen. (Yes, you can see that in Manga chapter 37 and 58) even in his old self. I wonder what's the limit of his power when he transformed into his true form.

- Any other original Youjutsu techniques you can think of.

Okay, I think it's enough for his ability and power. Touhou Fuhai's personality is rather easy to write. He is a pervert by heart, I think he was a womanizer in his early years, until some event happened to him and made him into a 2D manga otaku, his love denied by Akasha maybe? Anyway, his perverted nature aside, he was also the short tempered man who didn't take well anyone who disrespect him. He was someone who take one's honor above all things there.

For the pairings, you may choose which character ended up with whom. But please note that in the end, I hope it didn't contradict the original storyline in the future. I mean, If you pair Touhou Fuhai with hmm, lets say Ageha (Kurumu's mom) It will be weird. The Wong family wouldn't formed at all if that was the case. However, it's your call. I won't tell you which pairing for you to use, it's 100% your own choice.

So with that information, I hope you can make a great story out of this challenge. Please remember this, since the story takes place years before the canon, you may not use those youngster in your story, such as Tsukune, Moka, Kurumu, Mizore, Yukari, Ruby, Gin, Akua, Kahlua, Kokoa, Haiji, or any other young characters in the canon because they hadn't born yet. An exception you may use in the story is to make one the young characters (preferably Inner Moka) somehow go back in time to prevent things happened, but ended up several hundred years before their original timeline.

Don't be afraid for the lose of those young character, there are many other characters in the story. Moka, Kurumu, Mizore, and Yukari can be easily replaced by their mothers, there is also Issa, Gyokuro, Wong Fei-Hung, Huang Tim-Tim, Mikogami, Bus-driver, Youkai Academy teachers, and who said you can add any OC from your own?

I think that's all I want to say, you can easily fill the gap using your own imagination. I will looking forward for anyone to take up this challenge and write it down into a story.

2. Fullmetal Alchemist x Rosario Vampire challenge:

Edward Elric, once human, became something else entirely after the dreadful accident that he had caused on the Promised Day, and in an effort to leave behind his past, he left his world through the Gate, to places unknown.

It has been many centuries since then, and while Ed may have gained forgiveness from the prisoners of his body, he could never forgive himself. Due to this, he decided to try atoning for his great sin by helping those in need, securing himself a place in history as the legendary Shadow of Light, for remaining in the shadows as he helps both humans and monsters, recognizable by his golden hair, fiery amber eyes, and the insignia on his red coat. Ed is even more famous among monsters, for he is known as a member of the Dark Lords.

Currently, the same man is repaying a favor to his old friend, Tenmei Mikogami, by taking up a position as a science teacher for Yokai Academy. What will the famous Edward Elric face as a teacher at Yokai Academy, a school full of monsters? Will he perhaps find love to ease his eternal pain? Will he finally be able to forgive himself for the Promised Day incident? The tale of the Fullmetal Alchemist continues at Yokai Academy!

1. No yaoi.
2. Ed is a human Philosopher's Stone containing the 50 million souls of Amestris within him.
3. Please try to keep things realistic.
4. Ed must have the same motionless alchemy as Father and Hohenheim.
5. Ed should learn how to sense things from Ling and the other Xingese people, as well as alkahestry.

1. Ed x any girl, or none at all if you like, I don't really care, just don't make it creepy, like pairing him with Yukari. I don't like the idea of a several centuries-old man in a relationship with a little girl.
2. Whether Ed can use the Homunculi powers is up to you.

3. Naruto x Toaru Majutsu no Index/Toaru Kagaku no Railgun:

Potential title: A Certain Kumo's Lightning Princess

No one has thought about the possibility of bringing characters from Index's story into Naruto's timeline. All the crossovers from this fandom are about Naruto's time travel into Academy City.

Misaka Mikoto was the granddaughter of the Raikage. She was born with unnatural lightning affinity which she has a hard time to control her power. Each and every time she tried to use her power, it would end up too weak or too strong, making her barely able to pass the genin test, let alone chunin test.

You can do anything with the story, just be creative. Here some possible plot you might want to take:

- Make her into the jinchuriki of Nibi instead of Yugito.

- Make her expelled from the village out of shame from her parents/grandparents

- Add other characters from Index's timeline into the story to make it more interesting.

- Pairing is up to you; though, don't make it a creepy one like Misaka x Orochimaru or something - I'd die if that pairing ever comes to light.

- The decision whether she meet our favorite blond jinchuriki, is up to you.
