Author has written 13 stories for Young Justice.
I’m a big Batman fan and a friend introduced me to the Young Justice cartoon thinking I might like it. I am now currently obsessed and will be sending her my therapy bills.
I ADORE the show’s portrayal of Robin, who is my favourite character in the Batman universe. More specifically, Dick Grayson as Robin. I'm not a big fan of the other Robins (especially Tim Drake, whom I detest with every fiber of my being), but I am quite partial to Jason Todd (especially as Red Hood!). I never thought I would find an animated version of Robin that I loved as much as Robin in Batman: The Animated Series, but the whelmingly brilliant little Robin from Young Justice has even blown him out of the water. I also love the interaction of the season one team and find the chemistry between them very engaging, which brings me to a crucial point…
I watched a few episodes of season two and absolutely hated it. I mean no disrespect to anyone who actually liked season two (to each his own and all that) but for me, it just wasn't the same show. Therefore, everything I write will revolve around season one. I also write fairly Robin/Batman heavy stories (as my love of Batman was what led me to this show) and Robin/Kid Flash friendship fics.
With the exception of the Volatile universe, all of my stories are standalones. The Volatile universe features Jason Todd (from Under the Red Hood) now living in the earth 16 universe. Those stories (in order) are Volatile and Scars.
Arrow Comix is currently adapting Volatile into a comic. Here is the link for anyone who is interested:
Also, for anyone who is interested, I did an exchange with Magi-of-Luin recently whereby she drew me the most incredible Young Justice comic in exchange for a story. It's posted on her tumblr account, the link to which is:
Check it out. I highly recommend it. :)
DISCLAIMER: I do not own Young Justice, which is probably a good thing because my penchant for the dark and dramatic might have killed poor Robin by now! :D
