Hey everyone, my name is Charlotta and I'm sixteen years old (seventeen on May 31). Um, maybe some random facts will be pretty chill to share?
My favourite book has to be The Great Gatsby as its so intelligently written and has a very compelling storyline. I would definitely recommend it.
Favourite film is probably The Lost Boys. Other films I love are The Breakfast Club and all the Harry Potter films (my childhood right there). Other than those, I'm practically in love with every '80s movie.
I have huge crushes on Jim Morrison and Kurt Cobain. Literally fangirl every time I listen to Nirvana and The Doors.
Favourite bands include: Nirvana, The Beatles, Young Guns, Bat For Lashes, and INXS.
Favourite singers: Madonna, Lana del Rey, Banks, Lights, Lady Gaga and Michael Jackson.
An aspiring performer.
Studying Film Studies, Theatre Studies, English Literature and Sociology at school.
Other interests include hanging out with friends, dancing, acting, fashion (big on that one) and writing. There's probably more but I can't really remember.
My idols are Nelson Mandela and Madonna.
'Your brain is full of lollipops, rainbows and cheese' Aldous Snow - and that would be my favorite quote of all time.
SIERRA FROG SAGA
THE TURNING OF THE LOST GIRL:
Sierra Frog is just a girl. Physically, to the eye, she is an attractive girl with ocean blue eyes and healthy dark brown hair gorging down to the middle of her back. However, all of Santa Carla know of her. Her story, the life of Sierra May Frog, involves two useless parents who are either high or living the lives of their youth in the 1960's, a missing older sister who Sierra misses dearly, and having three jobs - manager at her family's comic book store, waitress at a Vintage Hollywood inspired bistro, and most importantly, a mother to her two younger brothers, Edgar and Alan. Her only paradise is the boys she adores with the notorious title of: The Lost Boys. It is June 1987, a month Sierra never knew was going to alter her life completely. One day, she meets a man from Phoenix, and during the night, dark secrets are exposed.
RESCUE ME, SISTER: (SEQUEL TO THE TURNING OF THE LOST GIRL)
September 1987, three months since the battle. Everyone is in a blissful heaven. Michael and Sierra are content, Laddie and Star are safe, Edgar and Alan remain their vampire hunting loving selves, Sam continues to adore his comics, Lucy quaintly works at another store on The Boardwalk whilst cherishing her sons, and Grandpa remains happily hidden in his den amongst the dead animals. However, hell soon arrives again as a loved one is stolen from them all. Whilst fighting for the return of her loved one, her sister and a sense of who she is, Sierra discovers that the secrets haven't all been told.
LIVE TO TELL: (SEQUEL TO RESCUE ME, SISTER AND THE TURNING OF THE LOST GIRL)
Two months after the events of the previous story, Sierra and Michael live in a perpetual fear of being turned again. The words of David haunt them both, as well as the impact of what transpired within three months. To Sierra, she has blood on her hands that can't be erased. It keeps her awake at night, more than the nightmares of David and Dwayne. Sierra knows what the secrets were, she knows everything excluding one thing: When will it start again?
