Author has written 2 stories for Walking Dead.
I'm the first to admit that my creative writing skills leave a lot to be desired. After reading fan fiction for a while I decided to try my hand at it and it has been a lot of fun. No, I won't be quitting my day job.
I love TWD and I've found out a few disturbing things about myself through the stories I gravitate toward and the stories I've written.
1. I'm a closet sadist.
2. I can't believe I majored in English in college. (Double major, thank God. I'd never get a job if I had to depend on the English degree)
3. I love Daryl whump stories (that probably falls under 1.)
4. As much as I hate romance fics, I ended up writing two. No! They were not supposed to be romances, dammit! I hate romances! Sort of. Kind of. Well, a few of them are pretty good.
I've written two TWD fanfics that ended up being a lot longer than I thought they'd be. I guess that can happen when you write off the cuff or on the fly, so to speak.
Writing is a release for me and it is a secret hobby. Well it was until recently. Now some of my family members snort and burst into giggles whenever they see me because they know.
Yes, I was an idiot and while some of my relatives were visiting, I let them use my computer and they discovered my awful secret. Then the teasing started.
I was horrified that my shameful habit had been discovered and I started to take my stories down, but after receiving some inquires from some very nice people, I put them back up. They aren't very good and they're both sort of ridiculous, but hey, I had a grand time writing them so family members, if you're reading this you can kiss my ridiculously silly, fanfic writing ass!
I practically live on my motorcycle during my spare time in the summer, so I won't get much writing done. I ride a Harley Crossbones named Daryl (badass, sexy and gorgeous just like the other Daryl and I love being able to say that I've had some great rides on Daryl)
I think Norman Reedus is a really cool guy and I bet he'd be a blast to take a motorcycle trip with.
