Still round the corner there may wait

Hello there. :)
I'm back once more after another one of those writer's block related absences. Expect updates on 'Wind Blows Water Burns' and 'Prayer for Your Lonliness' soon as well as the possible appearance of a new Legacy of Kain fanfic which is being planned now. Chances are once I get the other ones finished I'll write it up properly.
Now, the proper little profile bit:
I'm Kaya and I can usually be found either playing video games, reading their respective fanfictions or writing one of my own. On very rare occassions I have been known to get myself out and have a bit of a socialise in either a Tea House or excessively large book store.
For lack of a better description I'm all expensive electronics, clothes that are that little bit too tight and many failed attempts at life planning. I wear liquid eyeliner daily because I've managed to convince myself that if I don't my eyes will meld into my face making them throroughly unremarkable. I read thick, hardback books with textured covers and I've a fascination with Russian authors and excessively vindictive video-game characters which I developed an affinity for as a far younger, more angsty and more impressionable individual.
I like to think of myself as something of a writer and have a hard-drive and shelves full of novels I've written as well as short stories and those little page-or-two long things that seem to leak out of the imagination.
I'm an avid gamer and have been since as long as I can remember... as long as I was physically able to fit my tiny hands around a controller... I can barely fit my hands around an Xbox controller as it is but that's aside from the point. ;)
All reviews and encouragement (and constructive criticism too) are appreciated in the extreme and reciprocated too when I've the time.
In my spare time I tend to get up to a bit of photography or sketching away in my sketchbook. If you're interested feel free to take a look:
Thank you very much for reading. :)
