Author has written 3 stories for Elder Scroll series, Invader Zim, Halo, and Game of Thrones.
Hey fellow writers, observers, and critics. Please feel free to bask in my glow. Just kidding, but seriously, leave some comments on my work so i can better improve.
And now, my thoughts on the most divisive and violence inducing thing in Star Wars: Canon
Well, since Lucasfilm/Disney decided to put their boot down and stop this mess once and for all, they divided the Canon up into two things: Canon and Legends. Darth Bane is in the official cannon, as is Darth Plaguies. Guys like Revan, however, are not, belonging now solely in the Legends part of Star Wars
On another note, I do not support Michael Kirkbride's idea that fanfiction is canon. It belongs solely to the right-holders to determine what the official story is and what it is not, and while he did write some great background info for TES in the past, his idea that canon is null and void is asinine at best.
My original characters;
Decius: male Imperial Legate (Commander) of the Ninth Legion. Age: 52.
Anslaf: male Nord Dragonborn. The Blackwolf. Age: 25.
Elerand: male Altmer Inquisitor. Age: 24
Herman Alder: male Second-in-command of the Ninth Legion. Nord Prefect. Age: 64
My sister's OC that I am using with her expressed permission.
Syrenne: female Breton assassin. Age: 22
And finally, a list of things in fiction that I disagree with or do not like:
Mary Sues/Gary Stu's, in the sense of a completely overpowered character that solves everyone's problems by Chapter five, and/or canon characters want to have sex with him/her for no reason whatsoever. They also tend to be poor self inserts.
Self-insert romance fics. Most are very poorly written and the canon character goes completely out of character to fall in love with her (I use her since most romance fics involve a female OC). However, there are exceptions to this, such as "The Stark and His Frey." by jemlou. I recommend anyone who writes a purely romance fiction look at her story first and study it.
Bad grammar/spelling: To be clear, I can handle a missed comma or a misspelled word here or there, as long as the vast majority of the fic is legible and grammatically correct. What I cannot stand are fics that have spelling so poor, it would seem the author skipped grade school altogether. I will not read your work if it honestly looks like a chimp banged on a keyboard and hit the send button by mistake.
incest/pedo/necro/bestiality shipping or any combination thereof. That stuff is beyond mentally disturbing, and I will refuse to read or review any work that contains stuff like that. Example: Jaime Lannister X Arya Stark. Please keep that in your head and out of this site.
Gay fics I couldn't care for one way or the other, but doesn't mean I'll necessary read them.
Character derailment: Please for the love of God, do not create a OC who is well liked and have them do a complete 180 halfway through the story without explaining how or why they had this sudden change in personality.
