Author has written 3 stories for Harry Potter.
So, after years of lurking around this site and reading more stories than I care to admit, I finally got over myself and actually made an account.
This is mostly due to the fact that all those mentioned years I have also filled my laptop's memory with unfinished, little stories and plot bunnies that simply refuse to die. They keep on nagging in the back of my head and gnawing at the edge of my imagination. Now I have decided to man up and post some of those annoying little buggers so that I might one day gain enough motivation and determination to actually finish them!
An idea that refuses to go away, it's a terrible thing, isn't it? Give it an inch and it will take a mile and turn into an obsession.
I am not entirely sure what I will post, how much and if writing and updating will ever become a habit for me. A life that keeps one busy and all that... I will try, however, because I have some ideas that I actually want to finish. Reviews and a bit of 'nagging' for updates could be a world of help. And that was a very unsubtle hint, right there.
Important note: English is not my first language. This is worth mentioning since I am likely to violate the language in my writings, and I truly hope no one will get offended enough to crawl through the dark pits of internet to rip my eyes out for it. After a good decade of studying English, all those grammar rules, prepositions and the mystery of spelling still continue to baffle the hell out of me. Trust me, I do know the language but occasional mistakes be are unavoidable. All I really can do about that is apologize.
Though, in all honesty, most of my grammar and spelling mistakes are the result of carelessness and laziness. But I like the 'me no speak English' excuse better...
At last, a couple of links:
There was fanart made of In Death, Standby by KasandraBlack! (The fact that this fic has fans leaves me both humbled and freaking out at the same time)
Also, I have an account on Archive Of Our Own too, where you can find all my stories, should you prefer that formatting over FF.net
Plus, there's now also a Tumblr account where I might occasionally post about my writing crisis/nonexistent progress.
