I'm never very good at these things so, apologies for nonsense and rambling. I'm British, painfully British actually, you can't argue against this until you have seen my tea cupboard!
I speed read everything I can get my hands on, mostly fantasy. I love writing although I haven't for the past two years, so *nerves!* but when I did it was mostly whimsical blather for the amusement of myself to pass the time when I should have been working.
When I'm not reading or writing (or standing still in a supermarket lost in a fantasy world that's caught me unawares) I'm a full time grown up with a baby and everything. Crazy.
I'm the borderline hippy you see muttering to herself. I literally repel technology. I make up more words than I know. I love music.
I practically run a rescue centre out of my house, animals just move in and I feed them and they stay. Running total is 2 malamutes, 4.5 cats (to clarify, one is part time, not half a cat), 3 prairie dogs, 8 turtles, an axolotl, a squirrel and a three legged skunk. We're all happy.
I love antagonist heroes in every respect. If they're nice-nice I'm bored. In my world all heroes should be tall, dark and roguish. They're always up to something questionable, test you to your limits and wear too much leather but they all have a gooey, caramel centre if you dig hard enough. I married this man and still frequently swoon.
I love writing letters but have no recipients to whom I can write to, this is sad.
I'm currently writing Laby fics, thinking up a Black Sails fic and writing an original book of total folly about a Captain and his Duck, the duck has a phobia of water and a spyglass. Make of this what you will.
I don't have a desk, I have a plank of wood resting upon two wicker wash bins with a laptop perched precariously on top, in my pantry. There's on average 2 cats in here with me at all times. I wholeheartedly blame them for typos.
