Author has written 14 stories for Harry Potter, Avengers, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Young Justice, Sherlock, Ouran High School Host Club, Haikyu/ハイキュー, Hetalia - Axis Powers, and Katekyo Hitman Reborn!.
I'm an average person whose relationship with fanfiction borders obsession/addiction/fangirl fixation.
Young Justice, the Avengers, Percy Jackson, Merlin, Twilight, the Hobbit? What are those fandoms? I can't hear them over THE AWESOMENESS THAT IS ANIME RIGHT NOW.
I have a burning passion for animes right now! After a surprise and slightly unmotivated move to watch the first episode of Kuroko no Basuke due to listlessness while ghosting through Youtube channels, I came out a changed person.
I love Kuroko no Basuke. Don't you dare insult it or him in front of me because it's the first anime I watched and it was the one that hooked me and dragged me in. Just, can I say Kuroko-- AKHCIUEWHCKNL-- He's too cute!
Shortly thereafter, and also in quick succession, I stumbled into Ouran. There, I was like, SLCIJEWRCNELRKYUGFDNC-- for Tamaki, Hikaru, Kaoru, Kyoya, Honey, Mori, Haruhi-- ADKHGDFCKNWEIFH-- I can't even!
Free! Iwatobi I tried out after seeing how cute the boys' merchandise looked in stores and I didn't regret it! REI! And also, REIGISA FTW! Makoto is a nice mama whale :33
And it went on and on-- I won't get into the whole tirade but my current favorites are Kuroko no Basuke, Ouran, Free! Iwatobi, Utapri and Haikyuu. (OMG SYO AND NATSUKI!! GWAA, KAGEYAMA AND HINATA AND NISHINOYA AND TANAKA AND TSUKISHIMA).
For my writing itself, I feel that I can write one-shots write now and I like using simple vocabulary to write my stories (Although I know I should work on that :3) because I guess I feel that people can understand the meaning faster so the scene would be more meaningful too. I like to write run-on sentences that my English teachers would cringe at, but I do love them! I believe that they give good transition between scenes. I, in my opinion, can write light-hearted fics well but I'm looking to make my stories have more depth to them-- the sort that can make a person think. I haven't reached it yet. ;3
I usually write one-shots as I think that I can give a good scope of a character's feelings and thoughts at a single point in time but I am absolute rubbish at novel fics. I want to complete my Prince of Olympus fic, I really do. But with my unhealthy obsession with anime right now... I don't think it's in the near future... I'm aspiring to write an upcoming one-shot fic on Kuroko no Basuke currently, though! I think I've completed 2/10 of it succesfully- Yay! My friends say that I don't have the motivation to pursue long term projects but I hope to prove them wrong :)
I won't lie. I look on enviously at those good writers in fanfiction.net-- I envy how they can write so well and insert such emotion in their stories and bring me to the exact place they imagine their characters to be. I love how they bring me to tears and drum up my righteous fury. I want to be like them; They are my heroes. Currently, my ALL-TIME FAVORITE AUTHOR (as in, even compared to publishing authors) are Cywscross and Cysapphyre. I love your stories! Please update every single one of them in the future because they all are beautiful!!
Right now, I don't think I'm a very good writer because I don't have a good scope of emotions, and only a handful of experiences to reflect on cause i am still so young. Most of my knowledge comes from other fanfics and/or wikipedia/google. I am book smart, not street savvy. On that same note, I also wish to improve so that I may one day reach the point where one sentence into my novel and you'll be hooked. I also want to be able to write on darker, more unconventional topics for my characters in my fics and in real life too.
Anyway, to sum this up, I am a person who seeks to write novels in the future but right now is contenting oneself with satisfying my anime love through the snippets of stories here.
Check out my blog on Tumblr, yea? Alexichhi-- Look for me, I'm there.
Concerning SOPA 2013...
To all Fanfiction writers who want to CONTINUE writing fics without being penalised by the law,
SOPA 2013 is not stopped. I'm sorry to rain on your parade but I'm going to have to refer to a blog that I came across when I searched for 'Has SOPA 2013 been stopped?' in Google. Many links claimed that SOPA 2013 has been stopped, however, this blog showed a possibility too where SOPA 2013 has NOT been stopped. I agree with the view of this blogger. The blog is
for those who are interested.
It's true that just one petition will not stop an international bill that can still be signed by people of authority if they find it legit. Sure, they'll consider the petition and maybe see the sheer amount of people protesting the movement but they may STILL sign it because as much opposition it has, SOPA 2013 also has support.
Therefore, I ask that everyone still keep alert for any continued action from SOPA and to continue protesting against such a bill to politicians, governments and senators as they will take our protests more seriously (This point is mentioned in the blog) Also, SOPA 2013 can still be re-written in different attempts to pass such an action so we should all be cautious and not celebrate the defeat of this bill too early yet.
From a internet user who likes the freedom of the internet and has been made aware of many song artists and television shows-- which I had never even heard before but am now an avid fan of-- due to the promotion of other internet users (they've gained popularity with me and my friends and we buy their merchandises)
All credible points as that I have written are from the blog mentioned above.
